What would you do if all of a sudden you were told the your father was mysteriously murdered? Would just except it or would you figure it out? That's what Josh did in this intense book called The invisible City written by M.G. Harris. Josh's life was pretty normal until he is told his archaeologists father's plan has crashed off course in Mexico. The authorities say it was only a tragic accident, but josh thinks there is more to it. That makes the antagonist and of course josh as the protagonist. As josh looks into his dad's emails he finds out his dad was in search of the Mayan Codex. Josh travels to Mexico to find learn that the Mayan codex contains key information about the prophecy of the world ending in 2012. Josh also finds out that there are other people looking for this 5th Codex and his father may have found it and was killed for the information. After finding out the truth about his father's death he continues where his father left off. I really in joyed this triller because of how I felt like I was part of this amazing story of a 13 year old boy saving the world. That is why I recommend this book
