This book is a definite classic. It follows a tale of a large family trying to survive during a terrible time... The great depression. But there was nothing great about it. The family in this book (The Joads) were locked of there farm in Oklahoma and they decided they needed a fresh start... And more importantly money so they could eat. They packed up there few belongings a.nd the entire family and headed towards California where they had heard farmers needed pickers. Full of ups & downs, adventures, heartbreak and laughter this was a great book. I did have a little trouble sometimes reading just because the author wrote in accents and they had a very thick country accent and also this book did have a few "Bad words" but all in all I loved it. Thanks for reading -Ajg16's reviews
