In a discontent kingdom, civil war is brewing. To unify the divided people, Conner, a nobleman of the court, devises a cunning plan to find an impersonator of the king's long-lost son and install him as a puppet prince. Four orphans are recruited to compete for the role, including a defiant boy named Sage. Sage knows that Conner's motives are more than questionable, yet his life balances on a sword's point -- he must be chosen to play the prince or he will certainly be killed. But Sage's rivals have their own agendas as well.

As Sage moves from a rundown orphanage to Conner's sumptuous palace, layer upon layer of treachery and deceit unfold, until finally, a truth is revealed that, in the end, may very well prove more dangerous than all of the lies taken together.

An extraordinary adventure filled with danger and action, lies and deadly truths that will have readers clinging to the edge of their seats.

I just finished The False Prince it has such interesting characters, crazy plot twists, love, hate, lies, royalty, sword fights, and much more!! Will read the next one. Five stars ☺ ❤

This book, and the entire series is thrilling and definitely worth the read. Amazing characters you will learn to grow with, a surprising plot twist, and a thrilling story line reluctant readers will enjoy. Read the entire series, because tge rest of the books are even better then the first.

This book was A-MA-ZING! Here is a summary of this book. An orphan named Sage, is selected by a nobleman named Conner, to convince the royal court that they are the royal disappearance of Prince Jaron. Sage is a troublemaker and gets threatened and almost killed. With some a friend along the way he gets chosen. And because of what Conner did to Sage, Sage gets Conner arrested. All hail Prine Jaron! (Sage)

It is such a fun book to read and I really recommend it for people who like trickery, and thieving books. It is soooo good!

amazing! so interesting, and waiting to read the next one in the series! so exiting

I decided to read this book because it was given to me,but as soon as I got into it, I loved it! I always had questions, and no matter what word you ended on, it was a cliffhanger. But all that being said, my favorite part was the end, when the main character reveals all his secrects. I highly reccomend this book

It is fascinating, and the main character is very defiant and rowdy. It has action, and so far, no romance. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy action and wouldn't mind the main characters being guys.

It makes you want to continue reading it, its not to fast or too slow. The plot twist towards the end makes you go like WHAT very well worded too. I like how Sage/Jaron has a sharp tounge, Tobias is definetly my favourite character

If this is one of your favorite books you should definitely follow me and I will always follow you back and if I don't you can just go ahead and unfollow me.
