The third book in the CAHILLS VS. VESPERS series, the follow up to the worldwide bestseller THE 39 CLUES.

The Vespers have crossed a line. Amy and Dan were devastated when the Vespers kidnapped seven Cahills around the world, holding them hostage until Amy and Dan delivered an impossible ransom. But at least the hostages were Cahills - members of the world's most powerful family, trained to face all odds.

Now the Vespers have gone too far. They've kidnapped Atticus, an innocent 11 year old boy and Dan's only friend. Now Dan and Amy are in the struggle of their lives. Because if they can't outwit the Vespers, the unthinkable will happen . . . Atticus will die.

super book

Peter Lerangis, why?! You created Amian, then you just utterly destroy it? Either way it was still pretty good. :P

This is the third book to the 39 Clues: Cahills vs Vespers series. Amy and Dan travel to Samarkand, Uzbekistan and follow the now dead Ulaug Beg in order to find the next ransoming secret for the Vespers. Now with Dan's best friend Atticus Roosenbloom and his older brother, Jake, on their side, the Cahills feel as they can find the next item in time to save their uncle, the chosen hostage to be shot. But Dan and Amy don't know exactly what they're looking for.

I just love 39 clues.......

Mark rosenbloom can NOT be Vesper One. I wont go into ALL the details, but remember Mycintire was stabbed with a hypodermic needle, and right before was all like, "YOU!!!" So it was obviously a familiar face, (maybe Amy and Dan's dad, Arthur Trent because he was angry that Grace's and Hope's lawyer didn't, like, testify for the terrible fire that gulped up his wife, Hope?) Also, Vesper One has a nasty scar on his arm from a "Cahill event", (maybe the fire??!) Also , he sent Dan messages on the special phone, so he must be in, like, a Vesper position with great authority. He sent, "SUSPEND JUDGMENT", maybe cause he knew his kids saw the Vespers unbeleivably evil, but he didn't want them to think that of their own father? And, "The whole story is more complex than it's parts", (What could be more complex than thinking your own father wandered to the dark side, but he thinks he has a good reason? Also, he was in the Vespers before he married Hope, so it wouldn't be too hard to get back in See who I'm pointing at here??

wow! that was an awesome book! I'm still kind of guessing about some of the things.... is dan and amy's dad evil??? (is that the right book?) :)

I have not finished this book yet but it is really good. And I know that vesper one is mark rosenblloom.
