I read like half of this book for school. I'm not saying it's a horrible book, but I didn't care for it to much. it was kinda boring.

This book tells a story of an annoyed math teacher who wants to get away from the world's limits. He decides that the best way to travel is in a hot air balloon. He goes on a crazy adventure and discovers an "uninhabited" island, Krakatoa. It looks like he will be a prisoner forever, unless he can find a means of escape...
