It is both a sad book and a happy one because the Laura series is coming to a close but the Rose series is just beginning.

it is sooooooo gooood

Oliver Twist got mistreated and starved as a workhouse orphan. One day he ran away wishing for a better life style. On his way he meets thieves and villains. He also meets kind people. Now he is getting to know the truth of who he is.

Serafina is splintered. She is divided in to three parts: soul, flesh, and catamount. Soon she will disappear and never to return again. What can she do to save herself?

This story is about an Indian teenager named Junior (also named) Arnold Spirit who met a lot of tragedies and obstacles. This book taught me an important lesson: “Life Is Not Perfect”. Some parts in the story were sad and some parts happened so sudden that I wished that I could make changes to it. Also, Junior in the story was really brave, braver than anyone I met before. If I was him, I would never go to that all-white school and I would never join the basketball team. Even if I transferred to the all-white school, I wouldn’t have the courage to meet my one and only friend Rowdy, and I wouldn’t have the guts to talk to my crush Penelope. His persistence determined me that everyone could cross the border and do the same thing that he did. This is a hilarious, sad and awe-inspiring story.

This book is about a little girl missing her father because he is in the army also it is about how she moved around and she had to get to used to the new environment I recommend this book because it is a very deep book and kinda funny too.

Quite personally, I thought the book was AWESOME! I hated some of the blabbering and lines until the juicy stuff came along. I thought it was pretty sad at the beginning when “Pap” got attacked by an alligator. And it was quite shocking to find out that Tim wasn’t a boy. Knowing all this time from the beginning. The best and most exciting part came when in Shenandoah Valley the battle broke out. Yanks vs Rebs. There were some pretty funny moments in the book. Like when Thrasher ends up eating a whiskey watermelon. I thought that part was pretty amusing. I really thought this one was a good one. Most fictional Civil War books I read are from the point of view from Union, but this one I like because it’s unique and different from most. It gives us a point of view from the Confederates. And so, I think that is interesting. If I were to rate this book from 1 to 10, I’d say a solid 9 and a ½. As the book had exciting and funny and interesting parts for the most part. And all the talking and conversations were interesting but they were probably in the least. If I could recommend this book to anybody, it would probably have to be people interested in the civil war or wondering about it. Because this book is quite the interesting one. A view from the opposing side. The confederates (if that’s your point of view.). Or people who own a confederate flag or have southern heritage. Because they could feel how this kid could feel. This book was REALLY good. And I think it’s definitely worth a read.

My dad has read Cujo! I pre-ordered it on my local library! Cujo is a crazy dog who kills people! I would LOVE to read this book!
