She realized that being a princess is way more different than one would expect... According to Nishi, Olivia's best friend, she replied back, "U have everything in the world anyone could ever dream of, including a pony and getting to sit next to a cute prince, and now ur acting princessy." NO! What Nishi said is completely false and the author builds up this relationship with Olivia and Nishi that shows best friends have their "ups and downs." Also Ms. Cabot showed different mediums in this book, for example she had drawings and actual text messages (of course with slang, because us kids are so tech-savvy). I really liked how the readers get to explore the mind of Olivia because we got to understand her a lot. A lot of authors have their background focused on school and usually the protagonist is a student with flaws and the antagonist as the "mean girl/bully" who seems completely flawless. What Ms. Cabot did as well is that she explored the topic about how many people have insecurities and people's physical appearances do not matter, one must have to understand their background history. Because no matter how much one may seem flawless, they really are not. I'm just going to spit the truth out. Everybody is human and because everybody is human, everybody has flaws. And the author really got to brush with this subject such as using Louisa and the Flexer. So who exactly is the Flexer? Well the Flexer is Prince Gunther and he has green hair and he picks his nose and it gets worse... He is Olivia's dance partner and he squeezes her fingers really hard while they are dancing...I'm pretty sure most of us are formulating some sort of judgement right now. But this exact concept is what Meg Cabot explores which makes me want to give her a hug because she explored this topic perfectly to explain towards kids. And this is not all of the story... I'm honestly surprised how Ms. Cabot was able to compact all this story information in this book... So Princess Mia Thermopolis... Remember her??? Gosh, the Princess Diaries is the most hilarious series ever (with a more mature taste)... I read most of the books in the Princess Diaries series and I was so excited when Princess Mia was one of the characters in this book. And the movies are the best... I personally like the second movie the best... but just watch it ore read those series!!! Anyways... Princess Mia needs to finish preparing for her marriage ceremony... but one thing... there's only a couple of days till the wedding (uh oh), many conflicts about the color of the dresses (white vs. purple), and the top part of the cake was eaten (DUN DUN DUNNING... wait by who???)! There are soooooo many problems right now while Olivia is just getting used to being a princess and finding friends. This book is amazing and all of you guys that want to princesses or princes should read this book to learn how to be a proper princess or prince because it's not about what you have. And just a couple more tips before I start rambling... "5 bathing suits is fine to pack.. because after all you can never have to many of anything except enemies," Grandmere is a very smart lady and when you dine with the royal subjects in Genovia, the bread plate on you left is yours and the glasses on your right is yours. This sweet, sentimental story about how a princess is learning about how the world works (also by getting trained by Grandmere), we go on a roller coaster with Olivia reading about the ups and downs... Enjoy!

Title :The Spiderwick Chronicles Book 2-5 Author : Tony Diterlizzi & Holly Black Genre : fantasy and fiction I chose 3 for my rating because it's just right for me. One thing that I found interesting was all the illustrations, they were so realistic. I would recommend this book to grades 3-7.

I love this book. It's really funny and cool! I love that Ethan's sister is not terrified of literally almost any of the monsters,even GABE, until Gabe's sister comes into place, and she is TERRIFIED! I LOVE the ending. In conclusion, i'll give this book a 5 stars for being funny and for having a really good ending.

I really want to read!

The challenge didnt help me. I found the book a little interesting. Nothing surprised me. I would recommend this book to grades 3-7 because it's just right.

A lot of the time people don't think about how it would feel to have someone in your family with autism. In the book Rules by Cynthia Lord the main character is Catherine, a twelve year old girl who desperately wants a normal life, but it seems impossible when you have a brother with autism. Catherine tries many things to help her brother David, like making rules for him to follow. Another conflict in this book along with have an autistic brother is Catherine tries her best to make friends like Kristi, her new next door neighbor but to Catherine's surprise she makes a friend named Jason, a boy that she never expected to be friends with. Catherine is the protagonist in this book and David and Catherine's parents are the antagonists. David can't help that he has autism but Catherine wants a normal life so bad it makes it hard on her. Her parents don't seem to understand how hard it is for her and seem to give all of their attention to David. The turning point in this book is when Catherine tries to learn how to accept her brother for who he is… But will she ever fully learn how to accept him? The setting in Rules is in Maine during the summer around Catherine's house, her friends house and her neighborhood. I really recommend you read this book! It gives you great perspective on Catherine's life and can be very relatable for someone in middle school.

This is one of my All-Time Favorites!

I love A Series of Unfortunate Events! I think this is my favorite book in the series. The Baudelaires have been sent to an evil villain, a reptile enthusiast, a woman who's afraid of everything, and a man called Sir who apparently does not know what child labor laws are, and now they are sent to a wretched boarding school. Vice Principal Nero is a violin-obsessed, mimicking, and very, very rude person. The orphans are forced to live in a shack with ugly wallpaper, dripping fungus, and VERY territorial crabs. However, there is one good thing about the school. They make friends with two wonderful triplets named Duncan and Isadora, who are also orphans. But when Count Olaf shows up at the school in yet another ridiculous disguise, the orphans wonder how they can ever get away from this ruthless villain. Between S.O.R.E., comprehensive exams, and owing a terrible violinist MANY bags of candy, can the Baudelaires and their friends manage to stay out of Count Olaf's clutches?

I absolutely recommend this book! It is amazing,detailed, thrilling, exciting, and you never can prognosticate what is going to happen next. In my opinion I don't really like Aunt Josephine. I know she is trying to keep herself and the orphans safe but it is ridiculous how she is afraid of everything. Phones, doorbells, ovens, doorknobs, wood, you name it! It was smart of her when she through her statue out the window and Count Olaf thought it was her. Then, she jumped out the window and climbed down to her jet ski and drove to Curdled Cave to hide from Count Olaf. I was surprised how easily the children decoded the message and stole a sail boat.

(warning This book has many large words) This book honestly makes me ache because when it nears the end one of the very optimistic characters loses a limb. That doesn't mean I don't like this book though. I thought this book was amazing and it's one of my favorites. In this book out of the 13 Klaus, Sunny and Violet are sent to a lumber mill to live there lives and work. But they only get paid in coupons and have to eat gum for breakfast lunch in dinner. They pretty much live off it. But count Olaf is hiding. One of his minions are hidden as one of the top workers there and break Klaus's glasses. Olaf and hypnotist is acting as optometrist and hypnotize Klaus and fix his glasses. So Klaus (since he got hypnotized) turned on one of the machines and accidently got one of the workers Phil (in grim grotto they call him Cookie) to lose a limb. They then escaped and as we all know Mr. Poe brings them to another horrible place for them to live a orphans. (I didn't add to much detail for anyone who as not read this book) Keep reading!
