I love this book! I was so glad that there was a part two and I actually bought the first and second books at the same time in a book fair. I really love this book and I'm pretty excited that Callie and Brayden are SUPER close friends!

This novel was really good and was creative. Susan Beth Pfeffer has a distinct style of writing that make her books adictive. She writes at a nice pace, which is appropriate for the story. In this novel, we see New York City through the eyes of a new protagonist, Alex, which has overgone major changes since the moon moved. Alex is a seventeen year old boy who is a student at a Catholic school, along with his younger sisters. He is forced to adapt to the situation quickly and without warning. His world is changed completely. This novel is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone, but I thing that fans of her previous novels and fans of The Hunger Games would really enjoy this novel.

the beginning of this book was soooooooooooo boring but once they got on the island it got very interesting. I kept reading it over and over until I got the second book. I gave it to all my friends and said read this it's good. Three said it was AMAZING, the other one said she got board in the beginning. but the beginning is boring anyway.

This book was sad but I like sad books, and I think this taught me a lot. I can't put into words what this book taught me, but it was just really impactful. Also, I love when small details in books come together to form really meaningful, deep sentences, and this book did that quite a few times.

Meet Izzy Doyle, an eleven year old, who recently moved to Everton (totally unrelated, but Everton has a store called the Jiggly Goat)... Anyways there is a specific house in Everton that was bequeathed (more like it was forced- you’ll see after you finish reading this book) to Izzy’s father, which is the place where they moved to. According to the cash register in Jiggly Goat, there is a witch, Marian Malloy, and she’s watching out for “faries.” It’s sort of ironic how the cashier said that… Izzy is very determined to find out what exactly does the witch do for fun… I mean does she cast some sort of spell??? As she was “spying” on the witch… Marian Malloy was just washing the dishes! And maybe Hen might have accidentally told on Izzy… And maybe Hen spilled lemonade on Izzy’s book, which induced her to cry out and scream at Hen. The following day- Hen was playing in the woods, but Izzy heard some sort of music “from inside the woods,” but Hen was already gone. DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN. Izzy woke up from her huge headache and found herself in the “witch’s room” aka Marian Malloy. Izzy became cautious after she saw a kindergarten picture of her, but Marian told her that it was her grandmother’s scrapbook (the one who passed away) and that she genuinely cared for both girls- she wanted to protect them. However… remember that music that was going on when Hen disappeared? Well, Izzy hummed the parts she could remember and Marian instantaneously grew pale… Uh oh… Something smells fishy here! As Marian instructed Izzy to go back home as Marian will dutifully bring Hen home, Izzy defiantly did the opposite and followed Marian. She later finds herself stuck with Marian and ends up going to the land of “Farie.” In the land of Farie, there is trouble brewing up… She ended up being chased by Unglers (Unglers are creepy creatures who chase Changlings)... Now who are the Changlings? Well they’re humans who can transmogrify into any animals. *I’m so jealous right now- I want to have those types of power* Izzy meets Lug as they are running for their lives… Lug and Dree takes Izy to their safe haven and Izzy meets Selden… Together they all go on a trip to Avhalon to see what will happen… Izzy later finds out that the Piper is illegally stealing children (ie: Hen) for the Queen… and now Hen is the Queen’s “daughter.” How will this group of outlaws be able to retrieve Hen and find the Queen’s devious plans before it actually comes true? Where are the other Changelings- or are they the only one left? Why did the Piper take Hen? All of these questions can be answered once you read it…. Enjoy! Usually, fantasy and me don’t really match; however this was an amazing book about true friendships and the power of love… I absolutely adored this book… This whimsical and fantastical story will transport you to the land of Farie and will take you on an adventure… This is one story you would not to miss!

Ever since Sabrina and Daphne's parent's went missing they have been in and out of foster homes, and now they are being sent to live with a grandma which they never knew they had. It turns out the two sister's are descendants of the Grimm brothers, and that the Grimms have kept magical beings and people in line for centuries, and now the job falls to them. Now they must face giants, fairies, Pixies, and discover who is behind all of the criminal happenings in this small town of Everafters. This book reminded me of the Percy Jackson series the way it put a new twist on fairy tales and the modern world, and it was very interesting and a page turner for sure.

it is a about this girl and she her name is sunny and her and her sister starr were separated when they were three years old because their mom and their grandma died in a car accident so then sunny went with a relative and starr just got adopted put the women that adopted starr wanted sunny to but the relative wanted one to so then the relative got sunny then the relative just gave sunny to her son so then he abandoned her then she went to foster homes then all that she had of her and her sister was a old photograph of her and her sister and her grandma but sunny doesn't have a picture of her mom because the mom was taking the pictures of them. sunny loves twinkies and her foster moms name is rita and so her foster mom like healthy food so she couldn't eat twinkies for breakfast,lunch and dinner because she loves twinkies so she went to go and get twinkies and then she finds a bag and it had 820 dollars that some body lost . so then rita goes to teach her yoga class because she teaches yoga so then sunny wants to go and find her sister starr so then sunny dyes her hair green and cut her hair then she leaves rita a note that says that she is leaving to find her sister starr . and then you are going to have to read the book if you want to know what happens.

When Tristan’s family moves to a small town in the middle of nowhere, Petersville, Tristan is pretty bummed. Their home in the city was great! Why did they have to move? Unlike his sister, he isn’t gifted and he isn’t super cute and always making adults laugh like his younger sister. He’s a baking genius who’s always inventing new recipes. But that doesn’t matter in Petersville. In Petersville, he’s just Tristan. There’s no pizza or baking here. But then Tristan finds an old general store who sells doughnuts. Tristan is beyond excitement. Finally, some deserts! Unfortunately, the store doesn’t sell doughnuts anymore even though they were world famous. But Tristan won’t take no for an answer. Some racoons, a new friend, and a whole lot of doughnuts help Tristan finally realize what he needs. Maybe living here won’t be so bad. Laugh, cry, and eat doughnuts while reading this book.
