Kids Books - Horror

I recommend this book for 4-5 graders. If you like books with mysteries, adventures, and when you feel like your in the main character's shoes, then this is the book for you! I think the the author of this book did a great job including the feeling of making you feel like you are in the story. You go through a lot of mysteries and don't be afraid when something pops up!

Taran settled back into life at Caer Dallben only to leave again on a journey to steal the black cauldron from Arawn, death-lord. Everything goes as planned, until they realize that someone has beaten them to the job- and the black cauldron is gone. The only hope left is to abandon searching for the remainderr of their group and go searching in the Marshes of Morva for the creators of the cauldron, the only ones able to accomplish such a feat. But regaining the cauldron is going to be harder than Taran thought, as it requires sacrifices, to acquire, and the ultimate sacrifice to destroy it..... Alexander Lloyd had me rooting for the characters the whole time, rejoicing and grieving with them all through.

My good friend Thayer told me about these books. I instantly fell in love with the story. The story is about 14 year old Max and her "Flock" Fang age 14, Iggy age 14, Nudge age 11, The Gassman(Gazzy) age 9, and Angel age 6. These kids are 1% bird so they have wings. In the beginning of the book you learn they were tested on by a group of scientists called the "School" lead by Max's dad Jeb. Jeb breaks them out of the school but mysteriously disappears after a few years making Max the leader of the Flock. The Flocks get attacked by other mutants called Erasers(Half human and Half Wolf) ledby Max's half-brother Ari. The flock goes on many adventures and save many lives.

The perfect guide to surviving the depths of the spooky graveyard! Read all about zombies, mummies, ghost, werewolves and some more creepers of the night. Some of the "articles" in the book where kinda creepy and some weren't that interesting and for every scary monster page there is a funny joke like - why did the skeleton not cross the road? --- It didn't have the guts! Nightbird by Alice Hoffman is about a girl named Twig Fowler who's family is cursed. Along time ago, a witch cast a spell, saying that all the men and boys in the Fowler family would have wings. And so, for years, the family has been living away from the public eye, afraid of what might happen if someone knew their secret. When Twig meets a girl named Julia, who's great ancestor was the witch that cursed the Fowler family, the girls become strong friends. Then, Julia accidentally learns Twig's secret and the two girls start working together to reverse the curse that has haunted the Fowler family for generations...! This is a great book full of adventure, friendship and magic!

This was a great book! I loved how Jack and Annie went back to the early 1900s to visit young Louis Armstrong! It was very entertaining and creepy as well!! This was a very good story, and I love how the chapter titles are names of some of Louis Armstrong’s songs! This was an amazing story!!

Imagine moving to a new state in a new town with new people that you never met before. Then all of a sudden you start getting creepy letters from someone who calls themselves the Sentry. In Creep by Eireann Corrigan, the protagonist Olivia Danvers becomes friends with Jaine Donahue who just moved into Sixteen Olcott Place with her mom, dad and siblings. Most of the book takes place at Sixteen Olcott Place. The Donahues just moved into the neighborhood and started to get these creepy letters sent to their house from someone who called themselves the Sentry of Glennon Heights. Olivia becomes Jaine Donahue's best friend and tries to help the Donahues figure out who the Sentry of Glennon Heights is. A big aha moment is when Olivia and Janie go to Miss Abbot’s house. Miss Abbot invites them in and Janie ends up asking Miss Abbot if she has seen anyone taking an unusual interest in her home. Miss Abbot asks if she's talking about the Sentry. Olivia and Janie realize that Miss Abbot knows a lot more than they thought she did. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes trying to solve mysteries.

I think this book is good becouse it is a boy his name is tommy he's a nerd at school and get's bitten by a zombie he get's bullied a lot he has one friend called riely or ricky they are both very dump but they full in love with a zombie girl named brichet or richet brichet is realy smart shes also a cheerleader but has a crush on a socer player is nsme is jimmy so that's why it's the best book ever i give it a rate 5/5

Its amazing one of my fav you should get this book its by R.L STINE right? yep so its one of the best books in the world soooooooo get it right NOW!!!!!

Diana and Georgie have lost everything: their home, their parents, their possessions....the only thing they have left is the woods. They can roam the woods if they follow two rules that just appeared in their consciousness one day: NEVER go past the gate and NEVER show yourself to anyone. So besides those rules Diana and Georgie have free range! And boy, do they know how to use it! For the past seventy years they pranked teens (without being seen, of course) and drove the caretakers of the Old Willis Place crazy by messing with the TV during odd hours. But when a new caretaker comes that is unlike the others, Diana questions the rules for once. Even though they are only for her protection, the rules seem so strict! The new caretaker has a daughter, Lissa - and Diana has been lonely for SUCH a long time! But when Diana gets to close to Lissa, she starts to realize just how much she has lost and the danger she might be in. This is a 5/5 book, another of Mary Downing Hahn's wondrous pieces of literature. This goes on my top 3 horror books list! A must-read! --BKS
