Artemis the Brave (Goddess Girls)

Artemis the Brave (Goddess Girls)

By Joan Holub, Suzanne Williams

Artemis the Brave, who thinks she's not that brave at all. Her friends, Athena the Brain, Aprodiothe the Beauty, and Pepsephone the Phony often said that their friend, Artemis is really brave, like way more braver than they are. And the lesson that Artemis had really learned is that bravery doesn't mean fighting without fear, fear gives you a bravery itself. Artemis had met one mortal, Orion Starr who was an actor back on the Earth who Artemis used to like him so much but learned that Orion isn't of what she think about him at all. - Happy Reading!

Pheme the Gossip (Goddess Girls)

Pheme the Gossip (Goddess Girls)

By Joan Holub, Suzanne Williams

As the goddess girl of rumor and gossip, Pheme prides herself on being “in the know” and having the most up-to-date info on anyone and everyone at Mount Olympus Academy. To make sure that people really get her VIP messages, her words tend to linger in cloud letters above her head—just in case people don’t catch what she says! But not everyone is thrilled with Pheme’s insider knowledge on everything MOA—including the Goddess Girls. Can Pheme ever be trusted? Or will this “gossip girl” find herself on the other end of the rumors?

The Hidden Kingdom (Wings of Fire, Book 3)

The Hidden Kingdom (Wings of Fire, Book 3)

By Tui T. Sutherland

Rainwings have the most powerful weapons on the whole Pyrrhia, however, they don’t like to use it on other dragons, instead, they enjoy sleeping. Therefore, everyone thought Rainwings are weak and lazy. Few days ago, Mom finally bought me the whole set of Wings of Fire, I immediately rip open and start reading. In this book, the five dragonets of prophecy decided to travel to Glory’s home, the Rainwing Kingdom. They found out all Rainwings have a secret weapon, that is to be able to spit out the poison venom. As the story developed more, evil came to the Rainwings. They need to fight against the hungry Nightwings to survive. Rainwings don’t like to fight, so they didn’t train for it, however, under Glory’s lead, they slowly figure out how to use their secret weapon. This is probably one of my favorite book, because it shows how brave Glory is, and the five dragonets never give up on saving the world, ending the war.

When You Trap a Tiger

When You Trap a Tiger

By Tae Keller

I got this as an early Christmas gift from a family member, and I was like, "Okay, I'm not totally sure I'll like it, but I'll try it!" The next day I start reading it, and guess what happens? It was finished by the end of the day!!!! I loved it! I love that it has so much diversity, and one of the characters is very near and dear to me because she is so much like my grandmother (in more ways than one!). At the end of the day, I highly recommend this book!
