Thornwood (Sisters Ever After)

Thornwood (Sisters Ever After)

By Cypess, Leah

A tale about the character who never made it into the storybook, this story in a series is a fresh new take on Sleeping Beauty. For fairy tale lovers and sibling rivalry story lovers, Thornwood is a story that, just like a blanket, it will snuggle close inside their hearts, never to be forgotten.I cannot wait to read it!

Hamster Princess: Harriet the Invincible

Hamster Princess: Harriet the Invincible

By Ursula Vernon

I read this whole book on the day I got it! It was that good! The main thing to get into your head is that Harriet is like a Sleeping Beauty remix! When Harriet figures out that she will fall into a deep sleep when she is 12, so she has to live up till she is 12! She misuses the purpose of her invincibility to be the wildest princess ever! the when she starts to get to the reality of the spell and has the witch prick her finger instead! This plan goes crazy and the whole castle then everybody at the castle falls asleep, except for a prince, Harriet, and Harriet's trusty quail! That means that the prince has to kiss everybody! Harriet is a everywhere character! You can almost never predict her next move! I totally recomend this book to every reader! I usually don't like this genre, and I am way past this reading level but this book was truly the best! Great job

The Tales of Beedle the Bard, Standard Edition (Harry Potter)

The Tales of Beedle the Bard, Standard Edition (Harry Potter)

By J. K. Rowling

This is the greatest book ever for Harry Potter fans. The one that I would not recommend reading is the Warlock's Hairy Heart, because there's a lot of gross things in there. My sister read this before me, and she liked it too. Her and I are MAJOR Harry Potter fans. We once watched all the movies on T.V., but the last two, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows I and II, were blocked. At the beginning, I never really liked Harry Potter, until my sister came back from Universal Studios with a whole lot of Harry Potter fan gear. She got a wand and candy from Honeyduke's(which included the chocolate frogs and Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans).

Dragonology: The Complete Book of Dragons (Ologies)

Dragonology: The Complete Book of Dragons (Ologies)

By Dr. Ernest Drake

THIS IS THE BEST BOOK EVER!!!! If you like dragons then you are in luck this book is just the thing for you! It’s AMAZING 😁 I had this book when I was little and it was always my absolute favorite! I never liked bedtime stories but rather read this book because of how much I absolutely loved dragons (and still do). I wish I knew where it was or if I even still had it, but if I get the money to buy another one I will definitely do so!

The Story of Doctor Dolittle (Random House Modern Classics)

The Story of Doctor Dolittle (Random House Modern Classics)

By Hugh Lofting

The Story of Doctor Dolittle, by Hugh Lofting, teaches about tolerance. Dr. Dollitle is a doctor who can speak animal languages and loves animals, but he has so many animals that his sister left and he became poor. He didn’t mind, though, because he still had his animals. After some time, a swallow came and told the doctor that he needed to cure some monkeys in africa. He didn’t have enough money, but he borrowed a boat and supplies from people who knew that he was a good doctor. After a while, he cured the monkeys and went back home. The animals also showed him the pushmi-pullyu, an animal which has two heads. He earned enough money showing people it that he had enough for a while. I recommend this classical book for boys and girls, grades third to sixth.
