This book was truly amazing. I think my favorite part of the book is when Poppy calls Trey, telling him that herself and Lizzie saw William Eugene Frank, and how the police and Trey all captured Frank. A Million Ways Home by Dianna Dorisi Winget deserves a five stars rating!

I used to not like graphic novels! I thought were useless!!! Vera Brosgol and Raina Telgemeier have changed that for me! This book was really interesting! At first, I wasn't sure I wanted to read it, but I thought "It'll take me less than a day, so why don't I just read it! It can't be too b...

This book was pretty ok to me. It is about this mermaid. She gets her report card and she gets A's in everything except spelling. She is going to join this famous swim team. The couch kicks her out because she didn't get a good grade in spelling( she got an F). She has this pet named Salty. Also ...

I started reading the Captain Underpants when I was in 3rd Grade. Now I'm going into the the 8th Grade and I practically grew up with the Captain Underpants series. The tenth installment in the series picks up right where the ninth novel left off, with the the time-traveling Tippy Tinkletrousers ...

This newer and modern adaptation of the Boxcar Children is a continuation from the original series from what I can tell (I have only read the first book in either series). Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny Alden live with their grandfather and his housekeeper Mrs. McGregor. They decide to sell a t...

As a big brother, I’ve seen my brother read a lot of great books, but was unsure about Babymouse. It seemed a little too “high energy” , but after reading this story, my prejudice has completely changed. In this book, Babymouse is making the transition from elementary school to middle school. Af...

"Climbing into bed on the night before my very own most important birthday, after an evening of Miss Rosemary's meat loaf and interference, I did not pray for a powerful savvy like Rocket's or X-Ray vision or the ability to run super-fast or to breathe underwater. I had just two simple wishes - t...

While many children have childhoods built upon the foundation of their favorite movies and cartoons, favorite games and amusement parks, etc, mine was built on books. Picture books, pop-up books, chapter books. Books, in general, were my obsession, and more specifically, the Boxcar Children. Genu...
