All-American Girl
By Meg Cabot
The All-American Girl is truly a fascinating book, I couldn't stop reading once I started! The main character, Samantha, has always been a ordinary girl and could never stand out. Until one day she saves the president and suddenly the entire world looks up to her. However, she encounters more conflicts as a national hero. I feel like there are a lot of people in this world that are not famous, but they definitely deserve to be a hero, for example, doctors and police, they save lives all the time but we don't always appreciate them. The author did a great job of describing the characters feelings and using a lot of dialogue to keep the story interesting. I sincerely recommend All-American Girl to others, it's really suitable for teenagers, especially girls, who haven't realized their own value yet, because the truth is everyone is special and unique in their own way.

In this book it was sisters birthday. she got a locket that one the inside said "do to others what you would have them do to you" sister didn't understand at first but throughout the story she starts to understand. When she went to school the next day the mean girl was being really mean to the new girl then sister realised what the golden rule meant . So she played with the new girl.
