Annemarie Wilcox, or Shug as her family calls her, is beginning to think there's nothing worse than being twelve. She's too tall, too freckled, and way too flat-chested. Shug is sure that there's not one good or amazing thing about her. And now she has to start junior high, where the friends she counts most dear aren't acting so dear anymore -- especially Mark...

It's pretty good but it gets a little slow near the middle. Overall it was alright but not my favorite.

I really, really (repeat for at least 100 times) love this book. It is about a girl with a neighbor who's been her best friend all throughout life, but the neighbor is a boy. The girl starts falling for the boy while at the same time he starts falling apart from her and starts hanging out more with his "guy" friends. The girl has middle school problems and there's a dance, with one boy another boy... Get the book to find out more!

It's a good book. It's a middle school drama about liking your best friend (boy) and don't know what to do. The awkward situation or young love.

This book was cute and enjoyable, though not my favorite. It got a little boring at some parts. I still recommend it to girl readers ages 11-14.
