A thrilling new series soars above the competition and redefines middle-grade fantasy fiction for a new generation!

The seven dragon tribes have been at war for generations, locked in an endless battle over an ancient, lost treasure. A secret movement called the Talons of Peace is determined to bring an end to the fighting, with the help of a prophecy -- a foretelling that calls for great sacrifice.

Five dragonets are collected to fulfill the prophecy, raised in a hidden cave and enlisted, against their will, to end the terrible war.

But not every dragonet wants a destiny. And when the select five escape their underground captors to look for their original homes, what has been unleashed on the dragon world may be far more than the revolutionary planners intended . . .

Starts amazingly and makes readers wanting more at the end. Extremely detailed .

I have read every Wings of Fire book (legends included), and I absolutely love this series. I would give it a 500 star review if I could. I would recommend reading it 8+, just so the content makes sense.

I really like this story it was just to safe the world

I love the Wings of Fire, especially Book 1. In my opinion, the graphic novel is better than the real book.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a dragon? This book is told from the point of view of a dragon named Clay, who is part of a prophecy with four other dragons to stop the 18 year long war. They were locked in a mountain for safety. But when their guardian is about to kill one of them, they have no choice but to escape. They are then captured by the queen of another dragon tribe and forced to fight in her arena. Escaping will not be easy, but with a new friend who is many times revered to as a monster, just about anything could happen. Great book for anyone who likes dragons and adventure books and highly recommended. Also read the rest of the series if you enjoy this one.

I’d say this book is really good for people who are into dragons and fantasy.I would also say that the book itself was really good.

It's amazing if you like a story that has its own world to it and it's a great series!

It has been a LONG time since I first read this book, but I was hooked immediately. The crafting of this book and the ones that follow is fantastic. Everything ties together and leads to the next.

A great book by Tui T. Sutherland, The Dragonet Prophecy is the first book in a great series and is really hard to put down. Clay's adventures are really exciting and I was easily hooked. All in all, a great book.
