Three dragons. One unavoidable, unpredictable destiny. This is the beginning... of the end.

In the SeaWing kingdom, a young prince learns he is an animus -- capable of wonderful magic that comes with a terrible price.

In the mind of a NightWing dragonet, a thousand futures unfold -- and almost all of them, she knows, lead to disaster and destruction.

And under three full moons and the watchful eyes of his NightWing mother and IceWing father, the most powerful dragon Pyrhhia will ever know is clawing his way out of his egg. Darkstalker, the dragon who will change the world forever.

Long before the SandWing war, lifetimes before the Dragonet Prophecy... darkness is born.

This book helped me a lot with figuring out Darkstalker. I was confused but when I started to read this book then I was able to follow and understand. I really liked this book. It helped me see through their eyes and understand better. I love this book and recommend it to everyone reading the Wings Of Fire series.

I "read" the audio book a year ago and I still have "Foeslayer!" stuck in my head XD great story!

This story is really interesting with 3 main points of view, Darkstalker, Clearsight, and Fathom. I really enjoyed reading Fathoms point of view. This story is packed with love, betrayal, and suspence. This legend is really amazing.

(SPOILERS) This book was like the best book in the world! I love Clearsight and Darkstalker (my name is Clearsight and Darkstalkers’ name combined.) The ending was so sad and Darkstalker never gets a happy ending but sometimes it’s fun to read books like that. Clearsight does eventually get her happy ending in Pantala and she has many many children that eventually became the Hivewings. Fandom and Indigo are very cute together and they get their happy ending. The whole book is about Darkstalker and Clearsight fighting to get their happy ending that they see (they can see the future.) Darkstalker starts to become evil and motivated by revenge. He does some terrible things and long story made short, Fandom and Clearsight stuffed him under a mountain. “Betrayal woven into copper wires.” I’ve gotten teary eyed every time I finished this book (you seriously don’t want to know how many times I’ve finished this book.) This book was so awesome and amazing and I 100% recommend it to anyone! ( Although if you are around 8 years old, you might want to be careful because towards the end, things get pretty dark. There is some disemboweled dragons and death)

Also another Legends book. LOVED IT!
