Chase's memory just went out the window.

Chase doesn't remember falling off the roof. He doesn't remember hitting his head. He doesn't, in fact, remember anything. He wakes up in a hospital room and suddenly has to learn his whole life all over again . . . starting with his own name.

He knows he's Chase. But who is Chase? When he gets back to school, he sees that different kids have very different reactions to his return.

Some kids treat him like a hero. Some kids are clearly afraid of him.

One girl in particular is so angry with him that she pours her frozen yogurt on his head the first chance she gets.

Pretty soon, it's not only a question of who Chase is--it's a question of who he was . . . and who he's going to be.

From the #1 bestselling author of Swindle and Slacker, Restart is the spectacular story of a kid with a messy past who has to figure out what it means to get a clean start.

Imagine if you weren't able to remember anything from your life. You wouldn't even know who your family and friends! Chase Ambrose falls off the roof of his house. When he wakes up , he can only recall one memory, a 4 year old little girl. At school, some kids seem to be afraid of him. But why? It turns out he was the school bully. Now, Chase has the opportunity to restart his life, but as more and more of his memories come back, will he turn back into the bully he once was? I like this book because it tells the story from many peoples' point of view

Cool Book I Got Kicked Out My Group Tho XD

I read this book in fourth grade as a read aloud. I loved the book. I find it strange that after he lost his memory he completely changed his personality. But I find it nice that he changed. No one would like to be a bully right?

This books is awesome it is about a boy named Chase Ambrose. It is about him having amnesia and he is trying to find out what happened in his past. It turns out that he is famous. He is trying to find out if he is good famous or BAD famous. He learns that he was bad famous and this book is about him trying to make some changes.

It gives such a good meaning and means so much to me. It tells a great story.

This book is about a middle-schooler named Chase Andrews who loses his memory after falling off his roof, however, he still retains the ability to know motor skills, such as reading, writing, walking, talking, etc. This means that he is given a second chance, hopefully, to change his old bullying ways. He is displayed in this book as an eighth grade, and I am in eighth grade as well. Although the writer had a good idea in mind while writing it, it was pretty predictable to me, and mostly all of the things that I expected to happen did. The only things that I didn't guess were the little details in between. To be fair, the author did gives us many hints. I listened to the whole book on audiobook, as I would not usually read a "short" book like this, but listening to it was great! You can listen while working on a hobby or just relaxing in your room to keep your brain working!

So, this book is about a kid named Chase Ambrose. He wakes up in the hospital, because he had fallen off a roof and he soon learned he had gotten amnesia. He has to live a life with people who he doesn't know but they know him. Some people treat him like a hero, others are clearly afraid of him, Soon the question is not who he is, it's who he was and will be. I highly reccomend this book it's AMAZING! -Wolfie

It is a very good book and i love it sooooo much i read it 10 times!

This was the best book I've probably read in my entire lifetime. I loved the characters SO MUCH and I felt that I was apart of the book, becoming the characters in each chapters. Gordon Korman is amazing at bringing books to life. I moved from the only place I had lived last year and found this book in my new teachers library. Even though I hadn't lost my memory, I could relate to Chase and how he felt having to "restart" I loved every second of this amazing wonderful book and cried when it was over. I HIGHLY recommend!!!!! :3
