Like many kids, Ben Ripley imagines life as a secret agent would be pretty awesome -- so when he learns he's been recruited to the C.I.A.'s top secret Academy of Espionage, it sounds too good to be true.  And it is.  From the moment he arrives -- and ends up in the middle of an enemy attack -- Ben finds Spy School is going to be far more difficult, dastardly and dangerous than he expected.  Even worse, he soon discovers that he hasn't been recruited to become a top agent; instead, he's been brought in as bait to catch a devious double agent.  Now, Ben needs a crash course in espionage so that he can catch the mole, prove his worth -- and get the girl.  It won't be easy, but it'll be a very fun -- and very funny -- ride.

I thought this book was pretty exciting. Ben has no idea what he's gotten himself into. I think it's funny that the adults seem somewhat clueless. Likes Spy Camp too.

Alexander Hale is just HILARIOUS!

I read the book and am on the third in the series, it is great for kids who enjoy reading fun, exciting books.

i dont really like this book so yeah

I like this book due to the exiting turn of events and suspense and it keeps you on the edge of your seat just dying to know what will happen next. You will also be confused if it is a test bait or real life. I am still reading this book but near the end. Hope you will love this book to.

awesome book!

I see it in our class library want to get it and read it!

Ben Ripley is your average nerd. On a daily basis, he goes to advanced classes, gets harassed by Dirk the Jerk, and sleeps through math class. He is THE chess team. He is normal, right? Wrong. Ben is recruited to a secret CIA training facility in the middle of January and failed his surprise exam, learning this isn't James Bond work and that it is going to be much more difficult. He does not belong, and everyone knows. Ben discovers he is a patsy-- bait drawn in to catch the mole (double agent) in the CIA. He isn't supposed to even be in spy school. Now Ben is on a mission to prove his worth, catch the mole, and get approval from the hot girl, Erica, who is surprisingly hard to impress. And he may just become an official Spy School student if he succeeds... From Stuart Gibbs comes a hilarious, rip-roaring ride through the murky waters of the CIA, where Ben is going to discover if he really has potential -- and make us laugh the whole way. You will not want to put this book down!

The main characters were Ben and Erica. I think that a really funny part in the story is when Erica tells Ben about her father who is regarded as one of the best spies in the CIA but he actually just takes everyone else's credit and didn't do anything, the only people who know are Erica and Ben. I really liked the book because I think that it combines action and comedy and it has a plot twist in the story. The characters were really credible, I think that the author did a good job in making them have emotions and feelings and making them come alive. I think that it is a really good book and I would recommend it to everyone.

I really liked this book! Ben Ripley a 12 year old average kid gets recruited into the CIA's Academy of Espionage to hunt a mole for SPYDER who is trying to cause chaos.
