From the award-winning author of SO B. IT, a story about family, friendship, and...pie!

When Alice's Aunt Polly, the Pie Queen of Ipswitch, passes away, she takes with her the secret to her world-famous pie-crust recipe. Or does she? In her will, Polly leaves the recipe to her extraordinarily fat, remarkably disagreeable cat, Lardo . . . and then leaves Lardo in the care of Alice.

Suddenly, the whole town is wondering how you leave a recipe to a cat. Everyone wants to be the next big pie-contest winner, and it's making them pie-crazy. It's up to Alice and her friend Charlie to put the pieces together and discover the not-so-secret recipe for happiness: Friendship. Family. And the pleasure of donig something for the right reason.

With Pie, acclaimed author Sarah Weeks has baked up a sweet and satisfying delight, as inviting as warm pie on a cold day. You'll enjoy every last bite.

This book is probably one of my favorite books. It has mystery, interesting-ness, and sublimeness, with a dash of funny: all the perfect ingredients to an amazing story. I loved this book, and how all the characters just have the perfect place in the storyline and how every piece fits together. Who keeps on breaking into Alice's house? Where's Lardo, the most wanted cat probably in the world? And most importantly, WHAT IS AUNT POLLY'S PIECRUST RECIPE?! You'll find out in this engaging book! I'd recommend this book for ages 6+, people who like mysteries, and Pie, of course! What makes this book even more cool is that it includes actual pie recipes! This is a really great book!

Chocolate cream pie. Pecan pie. All except for this special piecrust recipe. After Alice's Aunt Polly passed away, people living around the world is going CRAZY trying to find the piecrust recipe that is SUPER delicious and win a Blueberry. A Blueberry is an award that you are given if you bake a really delicious and great pie! Once Polly passed away, rumor said that she gave the piecrust recipe to her cat, Lardo. Then, there is this mysterious person that starts wrecking the pie shop and also starts sneaking into Alice's house. The main character Alice is with a really close friend called Charlie. Both Alice and Charlie are trying to find out who is wrecking the pie shop AND who catnapped Lardo. I have to end this off here so YOU can enjoy this AMAZING story! Rating this 5 stars, please enjoy!

Pie: When Alice's, Aunt Polly (Pie Queen of Ipswitch) passes away, she leaves her world famous pie crust recipe to her beloved cat, Lardo. Not only that but also leaves him to take care of Alice. Your probably wondering: "Who in the right mind would leave a pie crust recipe to a CAT?" no one. Except, Aunt Polly. One day Alice comes home from, with Lardo in her arms and carries him upstairs to her room. Where she makes him a litter box or a shoe box, to do his business in. She then fed him 3 tunafish and went to bed... She was then awoken by the sound of rattling almost as if Lardo had knocked something over... She got up and checked around her. She saw NO Lardo. So she wondered: "maybe I am just having a dream." So she went back to sleep... The next morning she arose from her bed to look for Lardo... She looked everywhere until she reached the window sill.. Cat paw-prints vaguely marked on the ledge of the window... It was too late now.. Lardo had been taken or left... Will they find him or not? You decide by reading the book!
