I enjoyed this book thoroughly. The story was captivating and it made me want to continue reading it. I would recommend this book to everyone because in my opinion it was a truly great book.

I loved this book! A 12 year old boy named Kyle loves Mr. Lemoncello’s games. He breaks a window in order to beat his brothers in a scavenger hunt. The next day, when Kyle was on his bus on his way to school, his friend asks him about the extra-credit essay due in the morning that was actually an entry for a prize to go to Mr. Lemoncello's library the night before the grand opening. Pressed for time. he writes only one line, which is about balloons. As the day goes on, he regrets not working on the essay. Mr. Lemoncello reads the essays and chooses 12 12-year-olds since that age group hasn't even been to a library. Surprisingly, Kyle is chosen. I'm not going to spoil the rest. but you'll have to read this book and find out what happens next.

Such an awesome book there is also 2 other books in the series. Chris Grabenstein is one of my fav authors!! So basically the story is about a couple of seventh graders that never have had a public library ( I couldn't live without a public library!). So they go on this crazy adventure/lock-in and the team up and win it is such a good I have read it 5+ times by now!!

I love the books in the Mr. Lemoncellos library series!! They are very interesting, and they are also full of suspense! These books were really good and I enjoyed reading them immensely!

Wow! This is a really good book and Mr. Grabenstein did a really good job. It's fun because you can figure out some of the riddles and puzzles on your own. I also like it because the characters are very involved and very likeable- except one. And if you read this book you will find out who (and trust me, you will not like him).

This book is so good. My teacher is reading it. Even my arch nemesis likes it!

i love this book i read it so fast, i read the other one first and than i was like wait there's another one in the same series, and i was like i have to read it. This book was amazing and just shows a really good perspective on books and library's. If you are in for a good story and thrill this is the book for you!

This book was very interesting and different because it had a very unique story plot and characters that made the story even better! I may try to reread this book too..

A group of kids are invited for an exciting contest for an opening library. Kyle is one of them. What mysterious, crazy, and magical things will the children find in Mr. Lemoncello's truly fantastic library? What funny, amazing, or outraging things will happen? And will Kyle end up the very lucky winner--or be disqualified in a flash? Humorous, full of gasps, and truly magical, this book is perfect for readers of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory or any mystery books. Recommended!
