The pressure's really piling up on Greg Heffley. The only thing he's good at is playing video games, but his mother wants him to broaden his horizons by doing something-anything!-else. When Greg finds an old video camera in his basement, he thinks he may have discovered just the thing to prove he's got big-time talent. With the help of his best friend, Rowley, Greg hatches a plan to make a scary movie . . . and to become rich and famous in the process. But is doubling down on moviemaking a smart plan? Or is it just a recipe for doubling Greg's troubles?

Pretty funny. Not as good as the classics, obviously, but was a still a funny book. Consider checking it out. Had a strong plot of Greg and Rowley trying to make the film, and was pretty cool to see Greg's mom actually attract a large group of teenagers with family games. Doesn't seem like something she would do, but it being out of the ordinary was pretty funny nevertheless. Anyways, this was a pretty good book out of all of them. I liked it much better than Old School, I don't know why, it just feels like it's plot works a lot more and relates to what children actually try to do. Great book by Jeff Kinney!
