Determined to make things right, Tess decides to do one nice thing every day to get back on her mom's good side. Unfortunately, things go from bad to worse when Tess makes another big mistake! How will she ever get her mom to forgive her now?

Each volume includes: fun, friends, family, gentle Christian faith, and a fast-paced read.

"Byrd's debut moves along at a swift pace, spurring young readers on ... in Tess she has created a truly likable protagonist who has her share of everyday worries but is learning to face them with more and more confidence." Publisher's Weekly (review of the first book in series)

It is one of the greatest books ever. Wish I had a secret sister but there is no point in having one when I have four real ones. There is five in all wonder why. LOL!

I read this book and I'm reading the second book right now since I liked it so much. So the book begins with two best friends named Colleen and Tess. They are about to start a new grade at a brand new school. When they figure out that they are in different classes they start to split up because Tess is in a class with none of here friends and maybe not a nice teacher. But, Colleen is in a class with her old best friend Lauren. Then they invent the Coronado club and they wanted her to be mean to other people to get into the club. So now she is all alone and has to make a new best friend. Then Tess finally finds a true best friend and secret sister named Erin.
