    1. Mr. Gehry's latest building is compared to a crumpled paper bag. His building is used for a business school. 2. Laying down the brick was so difficult because all the bricks had to be custom made. They convinced master bricklayer Peter Favetti to come out of retirement to help them. Connecting the bricks to the infrastructure was another problem that they faced. 3. One of the great features of this building is the crisp wood-paneled oval classrooms that encourages collaboration. the building was awarded a 5- star green rating thanks to features like sensor controlled air conditioning systems.

    1) To pay tribute to all our past/present leaders. 2) Celebrated the 12th and 22nd in honor of Abraham Lincoln's and George Washington's birthdays respectively. 3) Congress deiced to join the two dates to just celebrate all the presidents.

    1. Mason wanted to pursue his entrepreneur dream. He opened a pizza parlor in Philadelphia that helps the less fortunate. 2. If you donate you put a nice saying on a little sticky note, then put on the wall. If your a person in need you go in and grab a sticky note from off the wall and hand it to the cashier. 3. This way people who cant afford a piece of pizza can have one. Wartman is setting an example for other corporations to follow his example and those in need.

    1. Our brain tells us what we are seeing, hearing, tasting, etc. Then it sends signals to our nerves and that's how we know how to react to certain things. If our brain doesn't fulfill this role it becomes very hard to listen, learn and talk.

    1) They are cheaper than traditional ones. The printer is not cheap though and there are issue with having someone who knows how to design the prosthetic to each individual's specifications. But they ask for volunteers. 2) John got inspired by these two guys on YouTube who made a prosthetic for this South African boy. To make any changes for the better of the people who will get the prosthetic. 3) John is not happy that places like the U.S and Europe still don't except this type of help yet. By giving his services to underdeveloped countries.

    1)46 miles. 21 miles, because the bus can't leave him any closer to his job. 2) It broke down 10 years ago. H could not replace it because he's unable to pay for a new one or the insurance. He likes his job, coworkers, and the food his boss's wife sends him every day. Also he has lived in central Detroit all his life and doesn't think of ever moving away from it. 3) Robertson's story was first published in the Detroit Free Press, on Feb. 3 and since this Evan Leedy was so impressed that he made a donation page.     1)They can clog up fishing nets plus they sting. Some jelly fish clogged up a fishing Co. and cost then 2.8 million dollars! They were prepared to make a machine to shred the jelly fishes. 2) That means that they can feel and they don't have a brain, heart, eyes, or ear. Professor Graeme Hayes from Australia's Deakin University did the research with reveled how they "meet up" 3) Want to study more on these "smart" marine animals. This information will enable aquaculture farms and others to take protective measures and mitigate the damage caused by jelly fish.

    1. Other countries marched to show their support for France. The banners, shirts, and posters are to show how they are against what happened during the terrorism. 2. Charlie Hebdo was targeted because the magazine publishers that worked for had pictures mocking Saddam Hussein. The terrorist that invaded the publishers are Cherif and Said Kouachi who were involved with the Al Qaeda group. 3. The other terrorist was Amedy Coulibally. Amedy killed an unarmed police officer who was responding to a traffic incident in the southern Paris suburbs of Montrouge. He also barricaded a Kosher supermarket and killed four people. Charlie Hebdo was determined to show that the magazines could publish what ever they wanted. They did this by publishing a picture of Saddam Hussein holding a "Je Suis Charlie" sign.
