Dude, I absolutely LOVE this series! I've been keeping up with it for a very long time now. The first book has been my favorite by far, and I learned so much from them. The science that Cruz and the other characters explain is so cool! I hope I can continue to enjoy this series and add to my Explorers Academy collection with this book! I have a feeling it's going to be really good, especially after what happened in the 6th book!Over 1 year agoskyward_flight added a movie review.
Christmas Flint has always loved space. It makes her think of extraterrestrial life, and something new, somewhere beyond the Birdie Scouts who endlessly tease her about wetting the bed. But suddenly, Christmas knows what to do. She tries become a Birdie Scout, and gathers together a group of kid misfits, all trying to prove how strong they truly are, no matter what it takes.Over 1 year agoskyward_flight added a movie review.
I was intrigued by this movie, because of the cute picture of a little white dog. When I watched this, I was struck by how predictable, and obvious it was. Dog has super powers. Dog attacked by bad guys. Dog forms crew. It was kind of like the movie makers didn't even try.Over 1 year agoskyward_flight added a movie review.
This is by far the saddest movie I have ever watched, and one of the most touching. Kennedy Hansen has always thought she was just a regular girl. Driving her mother's car at age 5, being obsessed with boys and cheerleading. But it turns out, everything is not what it seems. Kennedy falls at school, and has to go to the hospital, where it is discovered, she has a problem with her eyes. Kennedy is taken from clinic to clinic in search of a cure, without success. Finally, someone knows what's happening. Kennedy has Batten's disease, a rare sickness without any known cure. Kennedy pushes forward believing in God, and that she can survive. Then, the unthinkable happens. Kennedy loses her speech and eyesight completely, and finally begins to fade away. No one can believe that someone so full of life and love has to finally go. Kennedy has filled her life with beauty, and love, and has made her sixteen years the best years of her family's life. I loved this movie, because it was so full of emotion, and because it really shows the struggle of day to day life for someone with Batten's disease. I recommend this movie to anyone, and everyone. It will touch your heart.Over 1 year ago
