    1. We celebrate Presidents day because it is it is a day to honor all US presidents, past and present. 2. In 1968 Americans celebrated two holidays - February 12th and 22nd in honor of Abraham Lincoln's and George Washington's birthdays respectively. 3. In 1971 and since then this day has been set aside to pay tribute to all our remarkable leaders.

    1. It was impossible to think that the kiwi and the African elephant bird were related because of the huge difference of size. 2. The scientists thought that the small kiwi bird was related to the Koa. 3.The researchers believe that the tiny birds could not have walked even when Madagascar and New Zealand were part of the giant southern landmass of Godwana. That's because the countries were still separated by the large landmasses of Australia and Antarctica. This has led them to conclude that the kiwis were once capable of flying. They believe that by the time the bird's ancestors arrived in New Zealand, the now extinct Moa, another flightless bird that was endemic to the country, had already established itself as the largest terrestrial herbivore. In order to survive kiwis remained small.

    1. They think that because we are consuming the candy at a faster pace than farmers can grow cocoa. 2. What has caused the supply drop was a prolonged drought in the West African countries of Ivory Coast and Ghana, where more than 70 percent of the world's cocoa is produced. The solution they are trying is to increase supply with trees that can produce up to seven times the amount of cocoa beans. 3. The demand for chocolate went up because the growing appetite for dark chocolate, which contains more than 70 percent cocoa compared to normal chocolate that has a paltry 10 percent. Experts believe that if consumption continue at this pace, cocoa deficits could swell to one million metric tons by 2020 and to an even more worrisome, two million metric tons, by 2030.

    1. It is different because the cars can drive themselves. What was missing in the 2014 prototype was it still had a few manual controls and was also missing essentials like headlights. In the December it was different because it had a little more advanced with features. Google hopes to manufacture the Mercedes F015. 2.Mercedes is tiring to manufacture a car that has a smooth and streamlined roof, a flat front windscreen, and touch screen interior walls, and swiveling front chairs that allow passengers to turn around and face the backseat passengers while the car is still in motion. They are going to make steering wheel and brakes, allowing the driver some control in case of a software malfunction. 3. The challenges are the task of testing their autonomous vehicles in snow, heavy rain, and extreme weather conditions, which may not be an easy thing to do given that the currently available remote sensing technology systems do not do particularly well in foul weather.

    1. The big debate going on between football fans is they wonder if the footballs that the patriots used were deflated. The regulations for the footballs used for each game is 12.5 pounds to 13.5 pounds. The footballs come from each team given to the referees to check. 2. They found out because the linebacker on the colts gave the intercepted ball to the equipment manager and noticed it wasn't inflated by NFL rules. At half time they weighed the ball and found out it was two pounds under the standards(12.5 pounds). The weight of the ball matter so much because the lighter it is the easier it is to throw or catch. 3. Belichick believed that the footballs were deflated because of the weather. It is not feasible because the Colts ball would have been deflated to. The Patriots were fined in 2007 for taping the New York Jets defensive signals during a game. Belichick said he had no idea it was illegal.
