belle252's book review was featured in The Trouble with Robots.
Robotics used to be a fun subject for Evelyn where she got to work with her team but that was until disaster struck - Naiely, Evelyn’s best friend, moved away. All eyes turned too Evelyn to lead the team, and her ability to hold the team together was challenged more than ever. Robotics was simply not fun anymore and less people participated. As for Evelyn her dreams of winning the robotics championship, proceeding to State and then Worlds are crushed. But as a new, short-tempered girl comes into town, the story takes a drastic turn. Kicked out of all the other electives, robotics is the new girl, Allie's, last hope to stay in this school. If she gets kicked out of robotics too, then she will be sent to Sunrise High School, a place for juveniles. As Evelyn needs to work on her leadership and teamwork skills to accomplish her goals, Allie needs to learn how to open up to stay in this school. Only together will they be able to help the team survive and help themselves - the question is will they both learn to work with each other in time? Or will their last hope be thrown away...

belle252's book review was featured in Game On! (Star Striker).
Albert Kinney is a normal boy that simply wants to make the school soccer team, but he does not know what is in store for him. First, a stroke of bad luck ensures that he doesn’t make his school’s soccer team, and second he gets abducted by aliens from Planet Zeenod. As if that isn't bad enough, he meets a robot and aliens from that very planet and is scared about what might happen to him. Now he is left wondering why would aliens want to kidnap him out of all people, well he finds out pretty soon: they want him to play soccer! But as he is introduced to the technology of the game, along with the other Star Strikers, he finds out that not everyone wants Zeenod or him to succeed. Some shadowy life-threatening warnings come his way, and just then he opens his streak of bad luck- he finds it impossible to use the zees, he becomes aware of the stakes for Zeenods all around the solar system, and he has quite a few problems of his own to deal with. And if he doesn’t succeed…it could be the end of Planet Zeenod. “Game On” is a magical and hilarious book that is perfect for all soccer fans, it is definitely a must read!!

40 years ago, a soccer trophy mysteriously disappeared from existence, a crime that baffled even the top detectives and the police force of Winchester. Now, three amateur detectives have arisen, and they might be closer to solving the mystery than anyone else. Aiden, Daniel, and Ava love soccer. It’s basically their life, so when they figure out that a soccer trophy vanished about 40 years ago, they latch onto the mystery, but there are many obstacles they have to face. For one, the case occurred 40 years ago, which means that there are not that many witnesses they can ask. The second is that there’s practically no reason why anyone would have the motive to steal a kid’s soccer trophy. Along with the trophy case they also have to maintain their own lives, they have school books to read and their respective soccer teams to play for. But sometimes, it's not easy to balance justice with impulse. Will the town get their kid’s soccer trophy back, or will this case stay as an old town mystery? Overall, I found “Soccer Trophy Mystery” a compelling book with a great plot and an interesting turn of events.
