Me too, but my sister let me try her bubble tea and it is actually really good! It doesn't really taste like tea, more like a sweet fruity type thingAlmost 4 years agoswirlycool added a book review.
Sadie and Carter Kane have recruited people to train and help them. They must find Ra, and help him fight Apophis. Carter is also occupied with finding the real Zia, since it had turned out the other Zia was a shabti. Overall, I thought this book was interesting and if you are interested in Egyptian mythology or enjoy the Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus series, then this book is for you. I rate this book 5/5.Almost 4 years agoswirlycool's book review was featured in The Red Pyramid (The Kane Chronicles, Book 1).
Carter Kane and his dad are on the way to pick up Sadie, Carter's sister who he only sees twice a year. Except this time, Carter's dad seems to be distracted and clutching his bag tightly. Everytime that happens, something always happens to Carter's notice. Sadie and Carter see their dad talking to a guy named Amos. What follows next in the museum will change Carter and Sadie's lives. Strange things have always happen that Carter has noticed. On his birthday which also happened to be his twin sister Sadie's, their birthday cake blew up when Carter got angry. Now, something even stranger happens. Carter and Sadie's dad blows up the Rosetta Stone, setting many Egyptian gods free. Sadie and Carter discover their dad is a magician, and that their uncle is Amos. The twins also discover they host gods, making them godlings. Overall, this book was really interesting and I also thought that the parts of the beginning of the chapters where Sadie and Carter were passing the mic over was funny. I recommend this book to people who are interested in learning more about the Egyptian gods and their history. I also recommend this book to people who enjoy the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. I rate this book 5/5.Almost 4 years agoswirlycool added a book review.

Nikki is looking forward to being the opening act for the Bad Boyz tour along with the rest of her band, Actually, I'm Not Really Sure Yet. Except it seems like the Bad Boys don't really get along behind the scenes, and not only that, but Mackenzie is Nikki's roommate. Mackenzie is Nikki's enemy. Overall, I enjoyed this book. I recommend it to people who enjoy the other Dork Diaries books or graphic novels. I rate this 5/5.Almost 4 years agoswirlycool added a book review.
Apollo has done many things in his immortal life, but he has never landed in a dumpster in an ally. He has been turned into a mortal, and has been blamed for the war that had happened in the Heroes of Olympus series. Apollo must serve a girl named Meg, the daughter of Demeter. Whenever Meg needs help, her friend Peaches comes to the rescue. Also, something strange is going on at Camp Halfblood. Demigods are going missing with no sign of where they could have gone. The oracles are not working. Not only that, but in Apollo's mind, what's worse is the fact that he is now named Lester and has acne. Overall, this book was funny and I enjoyed reading the haikus at the beginning of each chapter. I recommend this book to people who liked the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. I rate this book 5/5.Almost 4 years ago
