The importance of books can’t be denied in a person’s life. Most people read books because they are forced to. But I read books for learning purposes, fun, and to help me get a stronger imagination. I tell a lot of people in my family that it can help you with your writing, spelling and grammar, but they don't seem to listen. I have siblings and they are always stressed over homework, so I tell them to read a book because it can help reduce stress. One of my sisters started to read the Percy Jackson Series. She read all of them, and she recommended them to me, but because I was more interested in mystery books back then I had no interest. One day after school I was in the library searching for a new book to read. I had read most of my age level mystery books, so I decided to try something new. I opened the first Percy Jackson book, " Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief" read the first chapter and was then attached to the book. I took me one day to finish because it was soooooo good. Today I have read the whole series of the mythologic books, "Percy Jackson", and had moved on to more books like those. I read the Lunar chronicles, the Hero's of Olympus series,and one of the Magnus Chase books. I would LOVE to read Aru Shah and the End of Time, because it seems my type also I can reread it and my friends and I could do quizzes on each other. I am looking forward to this book so much not only because I am a nerd but because I need a good book to read once in a while. Also I want to give a shout out to DOGO books as well as Disney-Hyperion.
