Book Review Revolting Rhymes Written by:Roald Dahl Reviewed by:Maria.T (I recommend this book for children of 10 and more) This book has many stories in it, like: Cinderella , Jack and the Beanstalk , The Three Little Pigs , Red Riding Hood and the Wolf and many famous stories but the stories are not the same as the traditional ones, for example little Red Riding hood is naughty and the prince of Cinderella too. This book is called Revolting Rhymes because it has ryhmes in the story . My favorite story of Revolting Rhymes is Cinderella. Cinderella is about a beautiful girl who has 2 mean stepsisters that ruin her life. Poor Cinderella!!!!!!! One day comes a little angel and helps Cinderella to go to the dance. She gets the most beautiful dress in the whole world. Then Cindy went to the dance and her stepsisters and her stepmother are there. Something very very very very very very very very funny happens in the danc. If you want to know what happens READ THIS BOOK!!!!! IT is different to the real story! I liked Revolting Rhymes because it was very very funny. The characters are funny and well described. The illustration by Quentin Blake are amazing. I recommend his book to anyone who likes funny stories. Read this book it is the best book!!

Book Review Revolting Rhymes The Three Little Pigs By Maximo.I recommended to 10 year old children This book has a lot of stories in it,Roald Dahl is a great author because he writes with rhymes to make it funnier and he does, he makes mistakes in spelling on purpose andhe like: Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Snow-White and the Seven Dwarfs, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, or Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs. The story I liked best is “The Three Little Pigs. They go to live to the mountains and they make one house for each little pig. One was of straw, another one was of sticks and the last pig made one house of bricks. One day one big wolf wanted to eat the three little pigs so he decided to trick the pigs but the pigs were not easy to be tricked... Do you want to know if the wolf ate the pigs? Did somebody help them? What happened to the wolf? I liked the book because the characters are funny and the story makes me laugh. It is a little bit bloody too. My favorite part is the ending... but I can’t tell you what it is... I promise you are going to be laughing all the time! Roald Dahl is a great author because he writes with rhymes to make it funnier and he does, he makes mistakes in spelling on purpose and he invents words. I recommend this book to 8 and 11 year old kids

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Author: Roald Dahl Reviewed by: Gonzalo.T (age 9) This funny story is about Charlie Bucket. He is a poor boy that likes Wonka Chocolates. And the famous Willy Wonka puts five Golden Tickets in the Chocolate. The winners are going to go to the famous Chocolate Factory. Charlie wants the Golden Ticket. Will his dreams come true? Is Charlie going to get the golden ticket? Read it and discover what happens!!! When I got the book I couldn't put it down because it was very interesting and the characters were very funny. I enjoyed this book because it made me laugh and because the illustrations by Quentin Blake were good. My favorite character was Veruca Salt. I liked when Veruca got the ticket. Her dad is rich and bought a lot of Wonka Chocolates for her. She was so excited. The songs the oompaloompas sang to the characters of the story were fun too. This is a part of a song of the oompaloompas for Veruca Salt Veruca Salt, the little brute, Has just gone down the rubbish chute And as we very rightly thought That in a case like this we ought To see the thing completely through, We've polished off her parents, too Down goes Veruca! Down the drain! I recommend this book to anyone that likes good lessons because the lesson of this book is: if you are good with others, good things happen to you.

The Witches This story is about a boy called Bruno Jinks that lived in England. His father and mother had died in a car crash going to Norway so Bruno had to live with his grandma in Norway. His granny told him all about witches in Norway, but she said that they were different in all the countries... When they had to go to live back to England and Bruno was in his old house, he climbed into his new tree house that his best friend Timmy had built. A young woman came and said that she had a present for him but he remembered what his granny had said about witches and told that woman to go away. Do you think Bruno’s granny was a witch? What do you think the witches are going to do with Bruno? Read it and you will find out. Don't miss it! I enjoyed this book because it is a funny and crazy book with a lot of suspense. Roald Dahl is a very creative author and very exaggerated. For example, if someone is thin it would be very thin and that makes it funny. He invents new words and those words are funny. I recommend this story to children who like suspense and who are between 10 or 20 years old because it is a little scary too.
