Elijah is an eleven year old "fragile boy" who was the first born free in Buxton, Canada. Eli is faced with challenge after challenge. One of the biggest challenges Elijah faced was when the Preacher steals money from a friend who was trying to buy his family out of slavery. Eli tries to help, and goes out to find the "stealer of dreams". I think five stars is a worthy rating for this book because you can connect to it in many ways. I connect with this book when I have tough decisions to make and don't know what to do.

Sage loves art and she is so disappointed when art was not happening at her school that year because they couldn't afford music and art at the same time. When Saige is faced with more sadness from her Mimi's injury she does all she can to help keep the fundraiser that Mimi planned to "save the arts" alive. Saige doe all she can to keep the arts alive in her town . I think this book deserves five stars because it "keeps you on your toes" kind of. I connect with this book because art is a lot of fun and I would hate to see it go.

Mia Hamm was a fast rising soccer star. This book tells you about the life of Mia and difficulties she faced. Mia suffered scoring droughts, confidence loss, and the lost of her brother. I play soccer, and reading this book helped me want to be better. I really enjoyed reading this book, and thought that the way they explained Mia's life made it very easy to understand. Mia is a soccer player that is still remembered today. She set records and had many moments to be remembered throughout her career.

This book is about a young girl who stumbles across a secret of the Tuck family. She now has a choice: protect the Tucks and don't tell anyone, or tell everyone and let the Tucks become advertisers for a man in a yellow suit. Winnie cares about the Tucks and wants to protect them, but the man in the yellow suit only cares about money. The Tucks work out ways to save themselves and Winnie. I think this book is good, but it can be boring and hard to understand. I relate to this book when I love something that I know will go away at some point.

Mia Hamm is a famous women's soccer player. She is selfless and cares about her family, friends, and team. Mia was a fast rising soccer star. Sadly, her brother, Garrett, died from aplastic anemia when he was twenty-eight. I connected to this book and enjoyed it more because I'm a soccer player. I love soccer and this book let me enjoy it more.
