Wonderstruck is about two children, and their stories come together. One of them a boy named Ben who's mother is dead and he's never met his father. The other is a girl named Rose who is deaf. Ben's story is told in writing, and Rose's story is told in pictures.
I really enjoyed this book. It is about a society where people get a special operation when they turn 16. They become "pretty". Because of that, anyone who is not artificially beautiful is considered "ugly". This is the story of a girl named Tally who lives in this future-istic world.
This is about a competition to create an amazing candy, but it gets much more complicated than that. It starts with Logan, the candy maker's son, but right at a very exciting part it switches to a different character. So, you hear the same story from four different people's perspectives.
