I won this book at the library because I took part in a summer reading program, and I have read it multiple times and it just never gets old! There are funny moments and shocking moments and it's like going on an adventure with Magnus! One of my favorite parts of the book was when Hearth accidentally hit Magnus on the butt with his rubber arrow (the reaction was super funny)! I also like that this book was in Magnus's perspective. I think that Rick Riordan did a wonderful job writing this book, he incorporated everything you crave from a book (at least for me). I definitely recommend this book and I hope you will love and enjoy Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard book 1!! Happy reading!!!!

The struggles of being a little kid! The excitement of a new school year! All this is described within Ramona Quimby, age 8. This book tells you about what Ramona faces throughout the year, whether being sick during school, or just getting through school overall! This is one of my personal favorites from when I was a little kid, and still today.

This book was wonderfully put together. This is a book about 2 boys and their separate struggles at a school. Ravi (Rah-VEE with the accent on the second syllable) is new to Albert Einstein Elementary. He moved from India because his father got a promotion for his job. On the other hand, Joe, has been at Albert Einstein Elementary since kindergarten, and had to deal with his "arch-nemesis" Dillon Samreen. Joe has super good hearing, which makes his ears a little more sensitive than others. This is why he has to wear earplugs in his ears sometimes, and the cause of him being bullied. Ravi and Joe are in the same class, and sit right in the front and back of each other. Ravi doesn't like Joe at the beginning because Dillon frames Joe or tripping, stealing, and bullying Ravi when he wasn't looking. What turns out is a shocking truth for Ravi. Read it to see it!
