New York Times bestselling sportswriter John Feinstein dives headfirst into a scandal of Olympic proportions in this exciting sports mystery.

Teen sports reporter Susan Carol is competing as a swimmer at her first-ever Olympic games. It’s the opportunity of a lifetime, and her best friend Stevie is both amazed and envious. Usually they cover sporting events together, now he’s covering her. But Stevie can’t shake the feeling that something’s not right. Everyone wants a piece of Susan Carol’s success—agents, sponsors, the media. Just how far will they go to ensure that America’s newest Olympic darling wins gold?

John Feinstein has been praised as “the best writer of sports books in America today” (The Boston Globe), and he proves it again in this fast-paced novel.

This book takes you through the difficulty of being an Olympian and how the ones you love can be the enemy. Susan Carol set a stunning record in the 200 meter butterfly. Next thing she knew was having a chance at the gold. She makes new friends and is having a ball. But then her manager lets his influence control her dad and it turns into a crisis. Her dad won't listen to a thing she says. Read it to find out more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This book is AWESOME!! It's about a teenager named Susan Carol who is a professional swimmer. Her agents want her to to all modeling stuff and she doesn't want to do that. They won't listen to her. It's getting to far, they want to fire her coach! She makes it to the olympics and there's a mystery on board. It's up to her friend, Steven and her to solve it.
