This book is called Petey by Ben Mikaelsen. This book is about a 60 year old man named Petey who lives with cerebral palsy and cannot be cured. Petey has been in an insane asylum for mostly his entire life because of his looks and actions but Petey really is a regular human being who's been discriminated by doctors and people because of how he is outside and not inside. Petey now lives in a nursering home with a friend named Trevor Ladd who offers to help Petey after seeing how Petey actually just like him. I think this book is a adventurous and amazing book and how this book can change people on how they live and act. I also think this book shows that disabled people aren't people you just stare at or make fun of I think you should respect and know that disabled people are just like you but made differently than others and inside we are all the same. I would recommend this book to people who are looking for an adventure. I would also recommend this book to people who are going through hard times and know that being positive is the answer. An internal conflict is man vs self, Petey vs himself mentally and physically because he suffers with severe cerebral palsy in which he has trouble moving around, stiff muscles, and and problems with coordination and many more, and mentally because Petey has a learning disability, speech disorder and lots more. An external conflict is man vs society because many people judge Petey because of how he looks and acts.

I recommend this book to anyone please read it it's very good it will change your way of life.
