"Part Narnia. Part Home Alone. It wouldn't have shocked me to learn the book had been written by some guy named Lemony Vonnegut." ―James Patterson, New York Times bestselling author

“A terrific read, magic really, an adolescent book for adults, an adult book for adolescents, a funny, wise, enthralling romp from fist page to last . . . So much better than Harry Potter” ―Peter Quinn, Author of Hour of the Cat

When Patrick Griffin passes out after a chemistry experiment gone bad, he wakes up in a strange parallel world, where everyone has huge eyes and tiny ears, and is addicted to smartphones called "binkies." Patrick thinks it's all a weird dream, but he's about to wake up to an adventure beyond his wildest imagination.

Meanwhile, a huge rabbit-like creature named Mr. BunBun is roaming through Patrick's hometown, leaving a trail of chaos behind it. Its mission? To save Earth from imminent doom.

See what happens when the fate of three worlds lies in the hands of one boy and one gigantic bunny in this first book of the hilarious and mind-bending new adventure series by Ned Rust, Patrick Griffin and the Three Worlds.

I received a copy of this book from Dogo books in exchange for an honest review. Patrick Griffin's Last Breakfast on Earth is a really good book. Patrick is the middle boy of 7 siblings, and a lover of chemistry and cooking. One day an experiment goes horribly awry and Patrick is transported to another world--ITH. People on ITH have big eyes like Manga and tiny ears. They have advanced technology that's interesting to read about. I thought Patrick was kind of funny and the action and plot twists were fast paced. If you like reading about other worlds read this book!

Patrick Griffin’s Last Breakfast on Earth, by Ned Rust is an exciting and adventurous story, although it is also a little strange. I personally thought it was too unrealistic and a bit hard to follow. If I set the book down for awhile it was really hard for me to pick up the book again and start reading. The story is about a boy named Patrick Griffin. He is a normal boy until he is sent to a strange and unreal world named Ith. On Ith they have futuristic gadgets like really fancy smart phones and showers that don’t get you wet. On Ith they also write like we write in the dictionary. Patrick is brave while he is on Ith but his journey is very weird. When he returns to Earth there are a lot of crazy monsters that have been sent from Ith. The end leaves you hanging. If you would like to know more about these monsters, gadgets and Patrick Griffin read the story. I would recommend this book to any 3rd-5th grader that likes science fiction. If you read the book I hope you enjoy it!

Patrick has always found it difficult to fit in, but he's never had to fit in with a whole different universe! When 12 year old Patrick Griffith is caught into another world, he must find his way through a new way of reading, government, and different names for everyday objects. In the meantime, while Patrick was transported into a new universe, some objects from other universes end up on Earth as well! As all three universes intertwine, it becomes clear that something is amiss. I personally loved Patrick's character, and he had a certain charm while still being sarcastic/sassy, and he wasn't washed out by the large cast of characters, plot lines, and universes. One criticism I would have is that on the world Patrick was transported too was slightly too different from Earth. I found it hard to follow at some points, and while the length of the book allowed for the necessary world building to occur, it dragged at some points as a result. In specific, when Ith changed the way that words were read, but yet had the same language, I found it slightly hard to believe. Overall, however, I found the world fascinating with intriguing characters and the author was able to balance the various plot lines very well!

This book was so good! It is about a boy named Patrick, a boy with six siblings, with him right in the middle. Patrick loves science, and he did science experiments all the time. One day, when he was left alone in the house by accident, he makes a science experiment. Something weird happens, and Patrick got sent to a weird world named Ith. Here, he learns that Earth is in danger, and that he could either risk his life in saving Earth, or have Earth taken over by a man who works toward taking over Earth himself. I love this book so much, but I hate how there is a cliffhanger at the end, how there is a dead end ending. The author used great language in this great book of imagination. I encourage you to read this amazing book!
