amazing book for learning. wrote an essay about this novel. it is so deep and thoughtful. reminds us of the horrors and cruelty during ww2 and how we need to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Wonderful book based on the author's real experience as a young teenager during the Holocaust. The story is graphic at times, but to tell the true horrors of this horrific event, these graphic stories must be conveyed. Great book to see just how unfair things could be and the grace in which to handle such adversity. (Religion is of course at the basis of this book. Elie does question his fate as it is happening.)

i'm going to read this book 4 my reading class and my teacher said we might cry. i don't like sad stories so i'm not looking forward to this.

THIS BOOK STINKS SO FAR, IT'S SO SAD :(:(:(:( !!!!!! I read it for school and i won't recommend unless you wanna read a book on the hollocaust. Also it's a biography, so it's all true.
