- I love that he structures this autobiography based on the dog friends he has had throughout his life. You get to find out about his childhood and his love for animals. This is a great read that will make you question your own life and how animals help shape it.
- Gary Paulsen is such a great writer. He has written way over 50 books!. This book is about all of the dogs he has owned. He has been friends with all of them. You will like the adventures and the action in the stories he tells about each of them.
