This uplifting New York Times bestseller reminds us that if we’re open to new experiences, life is full of surprises.

Fans of Newbery Medal winner Sharon Creech’s Love That Dog and Hate That Cat will love her newest tween novel, Moo. Following one family’s momentous move from the city to rural Maine, an unexpected bond develops between twelve-year-old Reena and one very ornery cow.

When Reena, her little brother, Luke, and their parents first move to Maine, Reena doesn’t know what to expect. She’s ready for beaches, blueberries, and all the lobster she can eat. Instead, her parents “volunteer” Reena and Luke to work for an eccentric neighbor named Mrs. Falala, who has a pig named Paulie, a cat named China, a snake named Edna—and that stubborn cow, Zora.

This heartwarming story, told in a blend of poetry and prose, reveals the bonds that emerge when we let others into our lives.

The book MOO is a lovely book so far. 100/5 stars so far

I l o v e this book so much. It is a w e s o m e and it is funny too. It doesn't really describe what's going on in the book, because I think it might be poetry too. It's sad, heartwarming, humorous, and a great book. Happy Reading!!

so good already read it it shows how they feel and they describe it so perfect

love this so clasisc

The book “MOO” is an amazing book! It shows the adventure of a 12-year-old girl, Reena, and her little brother’s experience after moving from New York to Maine. They have to adapt to a new, unfamiliar, and rural way of life. In the story, the characters had a “disrespectful” incident with their mysterious “frenemy” neighbor, Mrs.Falala which lead them to meet Zora the uncooperative cow that the book is based on. I loved the formatting of the plot and storyline. I didn’t think the pages were descriptive and are quite vague, the pages didn’t describe very much of what’s going on in the story. If you like books based on mystery, friendship, and trust, “MOO” is the book for you.

This book is different from other books in a good way. I like how they incorporate animals in this book because I like animals

I decided to read the book because the author is well known. The book is great! It tells about a cow named Zora and a girl who moved to Maine's friendship. It's written more people than what you would read in Harry Potter books ( which are also great!)

I love that book so far
