Hilarious childhood biographies and full-color illustrations show how George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Barack Obama, and other presidents-to-be faced kid-sized problems growing up in America.

Every president started out as a kid! Forget the legends, tall tales, and historic achievements—before they were presidents, the future leaders of the United States had regular-kid problems just like you. John F. Kennedy hated his big brother. Lyndon Johnson pulled pranks in class. Barack Obama was bothered by bullies. And Bill Clinton was crazy clumsy (he once broke his leg jumping rope). Kid Presidents tells all of their stories and more with full-color cartoon illustrations on every page. History has never been this much fun!

Considering this is a non-fiction book, it is harder to review. So, let me just tell you why this book is a good read. It was short, buyt straight to the point. It acually puts out some really interesting stories an d facts bout ALL of our U.S presidents. Even if you aren't a non-fiction person (like me) you will still find some tall tales in theis book that are in fact true. I reccomend this book to anyone who would want to learn about our presidents from somewhere other than a huge wikipedia article (that arent always true) or a fat auto/bibliography.

This book is a really relaxing and fun read. It tells about what the presidents were like when they were kids. Some of the presidents had ordinary lives that weren't the most fun to read, but others I was stuck laughing on. Plus the pictures are great graphic ones. My favorite story was the Ulysses Grant one where he was going to buy a horse, but made a mistake that cost him money. You learn so much stuff about what life was like in different times and it's really interesting. This book didn't take a long time to read, but it was sort of fun just to look through the stories, so if you want a quick read that is totally worth it, this book is for you!

This book is awesome, every kid should get this book. Some of the stories are so funny. There really isn't a story or plot but each president shares a child hood memory. Makes you realize that presidents were once kids. I like to look through this book every night. Also shares the different talents each president had. I recommend this book for all ages. This is also a great gift to give to a kid.

I loved this book so so so so so so so so so so much!!!!!!!!! It is a great realistic fiction story!!!!! It is about little moments of presidents. ( I usually don't read these kinds of books because realistic fiction is my favorite type of book ). My two favorite presidents were Ulysses Grant and Ronald Reagan because Ulysses learned how to ride a horse at five and Ronald was a talented lifeguard. The book doesn't have every president in it, although every president has at least a sentence. I think the message the author wanted to teach was ''Every president was a kid once too.'' If I had to pick one president to write about it would be Ronald Reagan. I hope you like it as much as I do!!!!!!!!!

this book was really funny. There is no real story plot, but that is okay, because of all the funny things about the presidents. I would suggest this book for like elementary school kids
