This book is so realistic I actually believe I might become invisible one day myself! Bobby wakes up one day, normal as ever, until he looks into the mirror. He's...INVISIBLE?! His parents can't believe their eyes either. Until they can figure things out, Bobby has to stay under the radar. In an act of rebellion against his parents' wishes for him to stay at home, keep his invisibility a secret and basically act like he doesn't exist, Bobby goes outside and observes his town from his new invisible perspective. Bobby bumps into a pretty girl at the library and thinks that his life is over, because, well, she'll realize she is talking to an invisible boy!! To his relief, he realizes that the girl, named Alicia, is blind. She has no idea that he's invisible. But with everything crashing down in his life, he figures he needs somebody he can trust, and it turns out that person is Alicia. They begin to open up to each other, Bobby explaining about his invisibility, and Alicia sharing how she became blind 2 years earlier. Of course, though, the trouble just keeps on coming. Representatives from his state's child care services visit his home to make sure he isn't missing, because he has been out of school for over 3 weeks! with "the flu!" There's no way to show that Bobby is alive and well without exposing his secret, so Bobby's family soon finds themselves in a web of lies with seemingly no escape, with even a threat of jail hanging heavy over Bobby's parents' heads! Will Bobby ever find a way to become visible again? And will he ever face his feelings about Alicia? You're in for a wild ride with this incredible sci-fi book by Andrew Clements! One thing I really loved and enjoyed about this book was the fact that the problems and struggles in the book were really realistic. I felt the same emotions that Bobby did as he reacted to new situations, and the way the writing reflected his school and home life were very true for a lot of kids like me, although I'm not invisible :D. And the solution to the problem actually made sense to me! Andrew Clements has always been one of my favorite authors, and this novel did not disappoint! This book was overall an amazing read, I give it 5/5 stars and I recommend it for ages 10+!

I think instead of using plastic or styrofoam we should just use glass plates, since glass plates can be washed and reused. And I think we should make it illegal to take styrofoam, plastic or others things to the beach.

Thank you so much DOGO you help me understaned so many things and explain them so much better then most people. and always remember the song" REUSE REDUSE RECYCLE ITS EASY TO DO" and remember any day can be EARTH DAY!!! so I recomend that everyone should pick up some trash everyday wether its on the road, sidewalk, I your yard, or even at school. You can make the world a better place just by doing one little thing.
