Jake Tanski is a good, smart kid but he doesn't always make the best decisions. In fact, his mom is at the end of her rope and decided to give him the choice between going to military school or living with his grandpa for a year. Both seem like horrible choices but he decides to go with the least worst - living with his grandpa for a year. He actually starts to do good in the small town of Rogers city. He even makes friends with a few people and develops a "small" crush on the Jazmyne, a girl who lives next door to his grandpa's house. The world all of a suddenly comes crashing down when the horrendous events of 9/11 happens. Jake starts to think of his father's death 9 years prior. With the help of his grandpa will be able to become a good guy. And will be be able to help Jazmyne through a terrible time in her life? I highly recommend you to read this sad but amazing book. How much time do kids your age spending on social media?! 8 to 12 average to 6 hours per day and ages 13 to 18 average to 9 hours a day!💓 whoa! This book has amazing facts about social media also supposedly 72% of male internet users use social media and 76% of femaleinternet users use social media! I bet you didn't know that President Washington didn't want the capital named after him? he preferred Federal City. The citys name was quickly switched after Washington died. Or that President Monroe, was broke after his 2 terms and had to move in with his daughter. This book was full of really unbelievable, crazy facts and it was pretty fun to read. This was really fun to read, my favorite "Choice" was to brave the Oregon Trail with a young family because it had a more exciting but was story to it.
