Just wow. I got the chills when Erik's dying words consisted of “bury me in the ocean with my ancestors who jumped from ships, 'cause they knew death was better than bondage.”
The world of Wakanda is beautiful from the supporting soundtrack to the people to the amazing character that each cast holds.

The novel takes place surrounding the town of Swindon, England around 1998. This is where the speaker, Christopher John Francis Boone, discovers the sudden death of the neighbor’s poodle. He’s found to have a caliber of high intelligence and decides to investigate the killing of the dog. The journey of investigation gives him the opportunity to experience self-discovery. He is known from the beginning to have behavioral problems, which could be a reference to a social disorder. I believe that this creates the significance of the novel, as it shows the auditors a different perspective on life.Almost 5 years agoturtlenicole has read this book.
