Finding Dory was an amazing movie. One thing that I usually don't compliment on movies is their art. Finding Dory's pictures were vibrantly colored and you could see every bit of detail from the scales of the fish to the bumps on the plants. They used every opportunity to add a splash of color to make everything all the more child-friendly and "visually appealing." The actors and actresses that read the lines of these characters were amazing. Their effort was evident, and when scenes and situations in the movie changed, their tones changed. That is something that some movies often miss. The plot wasn't something that was exactly original, but the way it was twisted and the amount of excitement that was added made the entire movie something of its own. All in all, this movie was a stunning experience, and I loved it.Over 5 years agospykittenliked a comment in The Great Treehouse War.
TAAAAN- TAAAAN-TAAAAAAN!! Oookay, let me tell you a little about Lana's day when she read The Great Treehouse War- Once Upon A Time, Lana was taking a final exam in school. Lana finished real early and had to wait until the rest of class finished. So Lana waited for three hours. She got bored so she picked up The Great Treehouse War. It was SO good that Lana finished all 284 pages in two hours. But then Lana waited for an extra hour. (You could tell from the huge puddle of drool). So, let's start this review. The Great Treehouse War by Lisa Graff was a book that I enjoyed. I loved the way it was written. To be honest ( I am a little bit ashamed from this fact), I judged the book by its cover. I thought it would be a book for a four-year old. (Oops). But, I LOVED the inside, I thought the novel was really creative. I liked the characters and their personalities. ( But i didn't get how a person could love teeth so much). I thought the Treehouse- in- a- separate- country was creative. The book was really good, but not perfect. Perfect is a 5 star rating, a really good rating would be a 4.5 star review. And this book got a 4.5 stars on the nose. Anyway, I really liked this one, totally recommend this book. I received an Advanced Reader's Copy from Penguin, this has not influenced my opinion in any way.Over 5 years agobookstory14liked a comment in National Geographic Kids Book Club.
