I thought this book was ok. It was about a girl named Taffy who lived on the Cape Hatteras coast during World War 2. Taffy played with her friends on the beach a lot. Also, Taffy and her dog and her horse explore Cape Hatteras together.

This was a great book about Tia (Aunt) Lola coming from the Dominican Republic to visit siblings, Miguel and Juanita, in Vermont. My favorite part was when Miguel and Juanita teach Tia Lola how to speak English. They make a lot of new friends with Tia Lola around.

This book was ok. The story is set where it is illegal to have 3 children. The main character, Luke, stays in hiding because he is a third child. Luke meets another third child named Jen. Sadly, Jen dies, leaving Luke determined to keep her dream of being free alive.

I especially liked this book because it had a dragon in it, and I love dragons. This book is about a young hare named Kenny who met a dragon named Grahame. They became great friends and taught the people of Roundbrook that you can trust a dragon.

I couldn't put this book down!! It took place in the 1940's. In the story, Ann Fay's father went off to war, and she and her brother, Bobby, both got Polio. In the hospital, Ann Fay made friends with a black girl named Imogene, and Bobby died from the Polio.

In this book, Kyle and his team had to solve problems to escape from Mr. Lemoncello's library. Once they escaped, their prize was to star in Mr. Lemoncello's commercials. My favorite part of the book was when I got to use clues to help solve the problems myself.
