This wasn't my reading level, nor the type of book I would pick out for myself to read. That being said I read it because it was part of the summer reading and found it better then I thought. I can see younger kids finding this book incredibly funny and enjoyable.
This was yet another cute book by E. D. Baker. It's was about sleeping beauty's younger sister who can't be affected by magic. When everyone in the castle falls asleep, she stays wake. So she sets out on a quest to wake her sister and the rest of the castle. Along the way she meets many princes, (including unexpected ones) and finds out about a plot to take over her kingdom.
It was a cute book about a girl and her brother who get sucked into a fairy tale (which happens to be snow white's) and change it. They want to get back home but also help snow white still get her happy ending. great for the reading level.
I just love this book. I listened to it even before I could read the book. I loved each character for a different reason and they all had a very good reason to be there. The Penderwick family spend a summer in a place full of unexpected things - and people. The sisters end up hatching plans to try to help their new friend Jeffrey out and not all end up as planned.
Don't you just love a good scavenger hunt? This is the ultimate family one. Only instead of laughing and helping out the little kids with you aunts and uncles they are all out to get you. Why? Because they all want one thing: the grand prize. Dan and Amy give up a huge sum of money for the first clue. No one thinks they'll find the next clue. Little does anyone know (Dan and Amy included) that their no typical kids. They're Cahills.
Sure it was the cover that made me pick it up, but then I couldn't set it down. When to young kampii find others beginning to die the try to find out what makes their world tick. Or more like: what makes their world breath. They discover that the problem might not be with them but with the... "Above World". Neither of having them have tails yet, the set of on a unforgettable journey to save their people.
Ok, ok. Another Disney princess movie. But of course your friend want's to see it and your in for the talking snowman. Then it starts playing and the musics great and your hooked to find out what happens next. In the end it was a super cute movie. Funny, enjoyable, and all around one of the best new Disney movies. And If you happen to like kids songs that go big and hit the radio and when someone says "Let it go" and everyone stops what they are doing and starts singing the song.. well then this movie is for you.
I just finished this book. The writing style was unique but sometimes hard to follow. I recommend this book if you like a female lead. The characters where okay and the plot was interesting.
She starts as a maid and finds out she might be a princess. She heads out on a journey with a handsome prince but learns that princes aren't always what they're cut out to be. It was good enough that I'm reading the next book now :)
