Reading through the story, I think to myself, How can life be so unfair? But it can be, life is unfair. I love how I can relate to the main character, sometimes I just feel so unfair but in other people's position, it's what they think. Is it wrong to slap your boyfriend for being a jerk? I certainly don't think so! I'm so excited to read the second book of how she escaped. I really like how Sean treated her :)

This book is one of my favorite book right now. I thought Sean was a great guy, then he left Davy when she got shotted. :( I'm glad he did that because Davy met the guy of her life, her fiance, Caden. Caden is super sweet to her and respect all of her ideas and opinions. When Davy wants to go back to find her friends, Sean, Sabine, and Gil, Caden didn't refuse but helped her even if he loved Davy so much. I was worry about the ending being not what I expected, but it turned out even better. Everyone should read this series, it's amazing!

maggies20's book review was featured in The School for Good and Evil #3: The Last Ever After.
The ending to this trilogy is completely stunning. There are so many unexpected plot twists, the best friends and lovers go through so many challenges before they finally find where they belong with each other. There are doubts within each character's mind, but as they help each other pass through the dangers, Sophie, Agatha and Tedros all learn to trust and love. I really enjoy reading this book because everything is written in a lot of details and all the events are very dramatic. I've read the first and second book of this series, and I think this last one is the best one. There's just a lot of crazy things happening, but through these drama, readers can still experience friendship and romance. This book is very suitable for those who seek for adventure and drama through reading, I would definitely recommend The Last Ever After to everyone!

Deenie is a pretty inspiring book. Deenie grew up in a world where her mother and everyone else gives her high expectations, she was expected to become a great model. However, everything changes when the doctor announces that Deenie has scoliosis, to fix her spine and prevent further dangers, she has to wear a brace. With this brace, Deenie feels insecure and lacks her usual confidence. She has to learn to overcome this challenge and face her life with a positive attitude. This story is really great, I think it teaches 2 lessons. One of them is not living under other's expectations, our life is controlled by our own hands. We should go after our own dreams and not be limited through people's expectations for us. Another lesson is looks can't judge a person. Deenie might not be able to look as glamorous as she was before, however, as long as she has a true heart, it doesn't really matter. So Deenie is a truly great book.

maggies20's book review was featured in 21 Proms (Thorndike Literacy Bridge Young Adult).
21 Proms is very amazing book. This is a collection of several prom stories, each written by a different author. Each story has its own format, some is written in first person, some is in second while others are in third person perspective. There are diary entries and stories even written out as a skit! However, what they all have in common, is prom. Prom is the dream and highlight of senior year. Most people dream of having the perfect dress and date. Whether it's hanging out with friends or dancing with your date, everyone at prom is ready to have fun! This book brings out new perspective and sides of prom. There are some miracles and drama happening in each story. After reading this book, I start to look forward to prom. It doesn't matter if you look perfect or not, the point is having an unforgettable night. Enjoy the last year of high school! So whether you're looking for a chance to return to the memories of your prom, or trying to learn about how awesome prom is, come read 21 Proms!
