I knew that this book was going to be good right when I saw it. It is about a 14 year old orphan named Matthew Freeman and he goes by the name Matt. His parents got killed when their tire popped and they died falling off a bridge. His mother's sister (or step sister) Gwenda adopts him. He eventually meets a guy called Kelvin and they start committing crime. They eventually get caught while trying to burgle a store and Matt gets a new foster parent. But when he gets to the place he finds out some very strange things and finds out that the people in his new village want to kill him. I am very thankful that I found this book and it was extremely great.

This was another great book by Anthony Horowitz and and it was a very exciting book. I was very relieved that this wasn't a first book is great and the second book is bad type of book. This book is about Matt and another kid, Pedro. They first meet when Matt gets abandoned in Peru and he falls asleep. Pedro then attempts to rob him of his watch and some other valuables then Matt wakes up and shoos him away. He eventually walks into a hotel but the police found him first a brutally beat him up. He eventually runs outside and Pedro grabs out a slingshot and starts shooting at the police. They manage to escape and meet together at a place called "Poison Town". I liked this book a lot because he wasn't able to speak English but they still managed to communicate. It was a very breathtaking novel and I couldn't stop reading it.

I think that Stargirl was a very unique, one of a type kind of book, I enjoyed it a lot. It was about a homeschooled girl who went to a school called Mica High. She had never been to a school before and her name was Stargirl, and she had made it up herself. She would sing happy birthday to people at lunch, she had a pet rat named cinnamon, and she wore very unique clothes. She wasn't aware at all of people around her's opinion until the narrator, Leo told her. I thought it was a great book and one of those books that I just couldn't put down to stop reading.

Stormbreaker is a book about a 14 year old british boy named Alex Rider. His uncle, Ian Rider died at "a car crash" but Alex doesn't believe it. So Alex goes to investigate and finds out that there were bullet holes on the car. Eventually, he gets brought to the MI6 headquarters which was supposedly his uncle's bank. Alan Blunt, the leader of MI6 convinces him to go on a mission to investigate Herod Sayle. Alex says no then he threatens to ship his friend, Jack Starbright out of town. His life then get's plunged into a life of spy stuff and adventure. What I loved about this book was how it was so unpredictable and the way the author wrote it. It was like James Bond turned into a 14 year old and the story was just so realistic. Anthony Horowitz, the author was also able to add lot's of details and amazing great reasoning and a great storyline. I liked how he was able to make the criminal mastermind plan seem so possible.

This book is another classic by Anthony Horowitz. Alex Rider got recruited again by MI6, this time to find himself in France dealing with a man called Hugo Grief. He gets sent to a school high up in the mountains so nobody escapes and it was made to deal with the rich kids that commit crimes and do bad things. This story has a really good storyline and I am not surprised that Anthony Horowitz hasn't let us, the fans down. This book also tells you the truth about spys, the get blackmailed, threatened or forced into doing dangerous missions like this one. It is also really hard unlike the movies like James Bond where he makes everything look easy. This was a great book and I am so thankful that this wasn't bad.
