I would love to read this. I only have the first Amulet book, but it would be really cool to have this one to keep myself motivated to keep reading all of the series! Not that the series wouldn't keep me interested, but this would help!

I thought the book was so funny! I liked the illustrations and how they weren't always illustrating the book but also adding more to the story and making funny comments.

The love between two sisters is so powerful. I love how close they are, and how she will stop at nothing to get her sister. Even meeting all kinds of crazy creatures!

I felt so bad for Alice. Her family doesn't want her around, and they send her off. I'm so glad she finds a friend, though. I just really wish her family hadn't been so mean.

This book was full of adventure. It really built up the tension in the war, and even though it seemed weird that he was so young and getting ready to be in war, I rooted for him the whole time.

I love books about magic. I love portals to other dimensions too. This book is really fascinating. I love the world it exists in, and I wish there was magic in our world, too. The story was really interesting and I couldn't put it down!

Ok, after reading this book I have to say: don't do what people dare you to do! She didn't think lighting the lamp would do anything, but it seriously made so much trouble.

This book made my mom cry. We read it together and it was really really beautiful. I thought about maybe making a wish tree in our yard, too.
