Ok, after reading this book I have to say: don't do what people dare you to do! She didn't think lighting the lamp would do anything, but it seriously made so much trouble.

This book made my mom cry. We read it together and it was really really beautiful. I thought about maybe making a wish tree in our yard, too.

I didn't want to read this book based on the cover, but I gave it a chance, and I'm really glad I did. I was really sad that Gertie's mom was so absent. I was sad that she felt like she had to get her to love her. But, I really liked her friends. She was lucky to have such good friends.

The best part about this book: THE MARSHMALLOW MACHINE. I want a marshmallow machine that shoots marshmallows into my mouth! That's the best treehouse ever.

I thought it was really cool that Zach King has a book now! In his book, he finds his super power. Although, I wish I had his mom's super power and could turn any object into something else. That would be really exciting. I love the art in this book and will definitely read it again.

This book really has a cool take on fairy tales. I like how you read on, expecting Sophie and Agatha to go to the school they're supposed to, but when they are switched, they end up finding out more about themselves.

I think the most exciting thing about this book is the main character, I can't remember her name, moves to San Fransisco and gets to be near her favorite author! I would be so excited if I was able to move near Rick Riordan.

I LOVE Rick Riordan's books. Especially this one. It's really big, so I was a little intimidated at first, but once I started reading it it went by really fast because the story is really compelling. It's full of action and suspense.
