This book is talking about a kid just going to middle school for the first time, and that how his middle school life. This story is pretty special because it is written in a diary form and that it has picture that goes with the events that happened but it still has a great and funny story to tell. The main trouble in this story is that the main character is not popular but he wants to be popular, so read as he and his best friend work their way to being the popular kids. This book super good! This book is about the same kid from the first book going through a hard summer, in his summer all kind of things happened, he and his best friend Rowley went to the beach together and had all sorts of fun, and got in trouble at the beach and the cops had to come to solve the problem, this is only one of their cool and funny adventures, read this book as you find out more of the adventures they have though their dog day summer.
